Is it his fault he wasn't good enough? No need to dig the kid out.
Tbf I was referring to the original comment of wasting years at Spurs. 🤷‍♂️ I wasn’t digging him out. I was pointing out he’s made a lot of money and failed in France.

Easy fella. What part do you disagree with that I’m a non head? Or move to the player thread? He chose to leave his club for a bench spot at best at Spurs. Then can’t hold his place in France??
If I need to explain to you why your post was a knob head post and unnecessary, then that's your problem.

I was replying to a post insinuating he’s wasted years at Spurs. Hardly the clubs fault he’s failed. 🤷‍♂️. Anyway, no need for the abuse tough guy. Last on the matter as I’m not getting banned. Take to his player thread if you want to discuss it.

Levy signing when Mourinho wanted a LCB. Got a young promising Rodon instead.

Rather than blaming the player, blame the club for signing a cheaper option, if Rodon isn't good enough then why sign him?

Anyway, not for this thread, lets leave it there.

He’s certainly available …

Xavi on Ansu Fati’s future: “Until the 31st of August a lot of things can happen. It will depend a lot on Financial Fair Play for us”
They have so many great young players I guess selling one with potential future knee issues won’t affect them? That 16 year old was a different level.

Yep. Like I said. It wasn’t meant as a personal dig at him. Just doesn’t add up. No need for the insults tho mate. 👍. Just realised Reece is a Welsh name 🙄. I’m sure you’re related from the Vally! 😂. Hope he does well at Leeds.

We’re massive.

Literally.

The squad is absolutely packed to the rafters with players.

I don’t believe all of our ins are finalised yet, and hot diggity damn we’ve got a shit load of players to move out. 😮💨

Two more in today, alone.
It’s sale season on the high street, maybe Levy‘s going to start offering buy one, get one free deals to shift our unwanted merchandise. Free Ndombele with every purchase while stocks last!

Rhys is Welsh. Reece is not. But kudos on the casual xenophobia. Great look.

This has all come from an agent who knows Charlie, plus has ties to the club. Apply salt and make of it what you will....

Things are a bit of a mess right now as far as the build up of the squad are concerned. It's all getting extremely complicated. If we sell Kane the plan is to bring 3 players in and the clubs we are talking to want definitive answers so they can prepare themselves for the new season. Trouble is we have more players on the books now than we did before the window opened, and we knew we were massively bloated then. The logistics are a complete nightmare. Ange is speaking daily to Harry and there are murmurs that are starting to bubble up that he might decide to stay regardless of whether any deal is struck. His wife has been having second thoughts about moving and Harry is not happy with how Munich haven't tied this up already considering how enthusiastically they've pursued him. With a new baby very close they wanted things settled and now the thinking is if it happens Harry goes over and the rest of the family stay until after the birth which is far from ideal.

Munich have been in contact throughout regardless of what we've heard regarding deadlines, and we have been happy to entertain these talks in the hope that a solution is reached for everyone.

My opinion is this is super complicated on numerous fronts and as such I'm not sure how this happens if Kane has indeed set a deadline himself of Saturday evening, there are just too many moving parts.

Interesting. Certain things ring very true in that:

1) Harry has a young family, who are likely very settled, and he's probably not going to take upsetting that lightly
2) There seems to be a good buzz around the squad - that can't have gone unoticed
3) Our squad really is massive - we've got to cut numbers or the ongoing wage cost, and lack of opportunities for the majority will be problematic on cost and create a morale issue for those not playing
4) If I was a selling club (i.e. the other side of the Kane trade) I would be telling us to get on with it too

Need to start taking decisions

Sounds to me like we really really need to get players out aside from the Kane situation. Which we obviously all know and have known for some time but with only a few days until the start of the season it’s starting to cause issues. It’s a shame that this will likely drag on until the end of the window. Really at some point we will need to start accepting whatever offers are on the table even if they are below Levy’s asking price. I know Rodon leaving on loan is a step in the right direction but unless there’s an obligation to buy we will be back to square one again next summer. I guess tho we can’t force teams to be interested in our players so maybe a loan is the best we could get. Just makes you realise what a mess this squad is overall.
