Hercules said forget him the other day fwiw
Unfortunately Krosche has rejected us already
Unfortunately, a very long way as I don’t think he is even on our radar..I'm wondering how far down the list we have to get before Gallardo gets on it.
Have we got a radar? More like a dish!Unfortunately, a very long way as I don’t think he is even on our radar..
You’re going to ignore that he’s the reason they have been relegated? The Rodgers hatred is a bit over the top. He’s obviously a prat but he delivered Liverpool’s best league season in a long while, and won Leicester the FA Cup (and two pretty decent league seasons from memory). I don’t want him, but he’s not as bad as people are suggesting.
Great summary and pretty much agree if it comes down to that realistic final list then I’d rather just give it to Mason. Only ones I’d like would be T.Frank and at a push M.Silva or Potter but none of them fill me with great excitement like some of the names in the original / first list did (Slot, Naglesmann, Big Ange, De Zerbi etc)Looks like Enrique could be going to Napoli so if Postecoglu does stay at Celtic, we will be down to a list of:
Nagelsmann
De Zerbi
Gallardo
Potter
Amorim
Frank
Silva
Rodgers
Glasner
Galtier
Considering we all know Nagelsmann and De Zerbi are incredibly unlikely, we've had no solid links to Gallardo and we've heard that it's very unlikely to be Amorim, that will leave us with a choice of:
Potter
Frank
Silva
Rodgers
Glasner
Galtier
We are screwed and I think I'd rather just give it to Mason than any of those choices to be honest.

I just find it curious that people seem to be on board with Ange, but ridicule the idea of Rodgers. The former seems like a better bloke, but the latter has way more of note on his CV (and is younger).
Here's the question; If it comes down to these two possibilities because of course they're others but if it came down to; The board through their own process bungles the appointment and as they're entering scorched earth levels of pressure.
Would we as fans prefer that through their ineptitude that they through sheer luck land on say Gallardo who in this scenario drags the club kicking and screaming out of the hole we've put us in. Or would we as fans prefer that the process yields the result it deserves to and we make a poor appointment which turns the pressure up to where massive changes draw ever closer. My estimation would be if we mess it up again that it would be lord of the flies in the boardroom at that point rather than they all got the boot.

If we get Rodgers, he will get us relegated like he did Leicester. I'm convinced of that having read and researched what happened at Leicester.
The board are going nowhere regardless so we need them to get lucky with an appointment like they did with Poch.
Rodgers just looks very irritating (and has a very punchable face). He's not the man to lift the spirits of fans and players.I just find it curious that people seem to be on board with Ange, but ridicule the idea of Rodgers. What's the situation with Rodgers? I haven't seen much on what happened at Leicester beyond obviously he struggled this season and their financial issues etc. Would be interested in case we end up speaking with him!
I think that is ok for me as long as we start turning the roster over and building with youth. For me, the next year is about setting us up for future success. If we hire Mason, we would literally be watching him learn on the job for the next 18 months. He's already made some very good decisions but some very rookie mistakes (which he does look like he's learning quickly from) but just too big of a job this time around
