Maybe Levy wanted Nagelsmann all along so deliberately drew out the Tuchel negotiations to get Bayern to bite.

Nagelsmann will likely wait for the season end to see his options.

He's young though so I highly doubt he'll take a break

Nagelsmann hasn’t convinced at Bayern at all, do we actually want him?
Basically turned us down to go to Bayern. I said at the time it showed a lack of a desire to prove how good he was by going to a team who have a monopoly on German football. That he’s been less than a stellar success there would indicate that he’s unlikely to be a roaring success at Tottenham.
Who turns down Bayern?

Very peculiar the way Nagelsmann has been sacked. Not like they are having a terrible season. One point behind Dortmund, a good win over PSG to reach the quarter finals of the CL.

Has been talk of issues with some players and some higher up the chain there but do wonder if he has possibly been talking to another club, namely Madrid, in terms of taking up the job there in the summer which has pissed the hierarchy off at Bayern and they've pulled the plug now with Tuchel available.

Im not sure that Nagelsmann has been sacked by the way. Saw something about how JN would be aware about Tuchel but would not have heard from
Bayern officially.

Maybe Bayern said they'd sack Naglesmann and give him the job? Or maybe Levy didn't want Tuchel that badly?
yeah pretty obvious Bayern have been talking to Tuchel.

My bro just told me Nagelsmann fell out with Neuer which probably was a death sentence

Their football at the start of the season was absolutely irresistible, I mean they've scored 72 goals this season already, almost 20 more than Dortmund! It's a ridiculous decision from Bayern.
