We've been through this befoere. Sigh.

If people are suddenly going to start using the ratings creatively when ITK posts don't be surprised if it has consequences.

Then we'll see if the 'funny' ratings get applied to that.
Tbh i rated it funny not because I don’t believe it but because I do and the whole situation is so depressing that one can’t help but laugh. But I changed it to informative to avoid any confusion ?

Prof on COYS was hinting the other day that we had concerns about Paratici’s extra curricular activities in London too. Seemed to be hinting at personal “issues” my guess is it’s something like Pleat got done for.

The Goat hears that we are struggling to any deals in Italy due to Paratici case, most won't touch us with a barge pole
We could send our intermediaries to Italy but they're still enjoying the Lisbon meetings and there might not be enough time for them to seal any deals in Italy based on how many meetings they would require there.

We'll have to make moves around Italy until summer by when we'll hopefully have a new DoF.

kind of makes him a little surplus to requirements in the long run doesnt it. Short term his knowledge could be shared with others but as time goes by that gets a little more dated

He has to go. We all know most Italian clubs don't have ethics, but they also know to stay away from the fire.

You might be right, but not necessarily.

Perhaps the club will use "someone else" to do a deal with any clubs unwilling to deal directly with the Parameister
Tbh I’m not sure he’s even allowed to negotiate in Italy currently anyway. It’s all a bit confusing. One would assume we would be using intermediates anyway.

I know he's got this thing hanging over his head and obviously both he and the club could do without it but take that away and surely what you say would still apply?

That being the case the shelf life on any DoF is what, a couple of years?

Exactly, it could be as simple as our being tainted by association and i'd make a pretty hefty bet we don't know the half of it with regard what happened, the legalities or anything.

We all know who that ‘someone else’ is though, and unless those Italian clubs have taken a keen interest in packets of Quavers and loose change found down the side of the sofa we all know how this ends…

I find it hard to believe no one in Italy will deal with us because of Paratici.

Paratici has been implicated because of the dodgy practices of the club he represented, Juventus. It has no bearing on how we operate as a club.

I have mental images of Daniel Levy turning his fax machine on

Presumably all of these whiter than white clubs will also refuse to buy from, or sell to Juventus. I know what my money's on.

Not necessarily as if they are still allowed to be globally active people take their calls and they have their (still current) networks. Once you become that social pariah and no one talks to you then what you know has a shelf life i'd assume as you cant add to it

We always seem to find/create ways to struggle to complete transfers. Add this one to the long list.

It’s been very well publicised that we are using intermediaries to resolve the Porro deal, could that be that Paratici is taking a back seat whilst his future is resolved? If so, would we really be guilty by association when it comes to dealing with Italian clubs? The PL clubs hold the majority of the buying power in Europe, so I imagine that money is still good to use.
Also, Paratici bought in Steinsson and Scoulding in the summer to take over some of Hitchen’s role, would they not be deputising?

All we can do is make guesses. Ill informed ones at that. Plus take the pinch of salt.

All we know for sure is that it's a shitty situation.
