Italian press were saying yesterday that we are trying to explore a possible part swap for Bastoni with Royal going the other way but that doesn’t really make sense unless Dumfries leaves

Wouldn’t surprise me if it makes them feel a bit butthurt that little old Tottenham want to take their player, so they make things more difficult than normal. Could just generally be shits to deal with though

. I understand we need to shift a few which is proving difficult but really want to see some movement ASAP.

I know we still have 2 and half weeks left but it would be great not to leave things to the very last minute but it just feels like we will because of our need to free up space.

We are financially stable enough to not register 1 or 2 player in the squads. Other teams do it to get players they want

Sounds like the targets we have will suit all parties except sporting. Inter and Roma get to make money on players without contracts budging who are having down seasons and we get to hopefully get good value for money and allow Conte to do what he did with Bentancur and Kulusevki and reenergise them.

Don't we all, but it is what it is. Anyway CB will only happen if the right deal can be done now which I'm doubtful. I think the RWB and forward will get done anything else will just be a bonus.

Agreed, but not every club has been in need of a squad rebuild for 4.5 years and has hired a manager who will walk if not backed with transfers.

We’ve had ITK about Zaniolo and Edwards. Not sure we actually had any on Trossard. Just media links.

I know what you mean, I’d love us to be after a Mudryk type etc, but we know Conte is a big fan of Zaniolo. It might not be sexy, but I think it would be good to give the manager his his top choice (assuming he still is) if we can.
