Imagine Poch coming back and being made to play with a lot of the dross he wanted rid of four years ago.

Fuck Daniel Levy

You only hurt Levy with hitting his pocket. Even if you attend games refusing to give any more money to him would be a stand. Not buying merchandise in the club shop would hurt. After that booing on 23mins (23year at the club). The problem not enough will to do it to make a difference.

So to sum up the so called big 6 teams have won between them 61 trophies out of 67 and we have contributed one of them.
But without us, it would be the big 5. The fact that we are now seen as one of the big 6 is a great achievment no matter how few trophies we have won. It could've been Everton, Villa, Newcastle, even West Ham with their free stadium. But it's not. It's us.

I'm sure there are lots of things that are wrong with the leadership at the club, but you really can't compare us to those other five and not acknowledge that that being a relevant comparison is an achievement in its own.

Pochettino, Mourinho and Conte aren't crap managers. If Arsenal or United or any of our competitors hired these three managers in succession like we have, they've have a few pots to show for it.
True, I meant "crap coaches". They are good managers for the right kind of club. We need a good coach. I posted this back in Feb, and stand by it now:
I wonder whether we're caught between two stools at the moment. Clubs like Brighton (for instance) have players who have drive and want to win, and who will listen to a coach and work for the team without their egos getting in the way. Teams like Citeh have absolute top quality players, who don't necessarily relish being coached, but who can go out and get results by sheer ability, and need a manager who can deal with their egos and command their respect. We want to be in the latter category, but don't have enough great players. We need a coach who can get us there, but have a manager who might be able to keep us there, if we got there.

Conte has done nothing to change my mind on this

Being in the US I'm not privy to all the media coverage over there and I've only followed Spurs since AVB, but can anyone that supports Levy in this matter explain to me your thought process? I am genuinely curious. I'm not saying Conte is perfect but again this will be four managers in five years or so and some people still think Levy is not the issue??? Makes no sense to me.

Sure.

Levy has made Tottenham a force that has such a strong foundation that even with bad decisions on the field and manager merry go rounds, we'll always be just a few steps away from being back near the top of the table.

He's done this in a league where several other teams have financial cheat codes. With a more level playing field God knows what we would have achieved by now.

Considering the true shit show of the club before enic, I am beyond grateful for that and nervous what new leadership may do. I believe he truly loves the club and would do anything to protect it from a truly awful fate.

I also think at the level we are at, it's not easy to take that final step. It requires some luck. Sure he could have done more but if a few of the finals we've been in went slightly differently we could have some good trophies in the cabinet already.

If the ball doesn't hit Sissoko's arm and we scrap out a win, does that change levy's legacy. To me just having a team that can consistently compete with financially doped teams is, I think, the success story.

In this particular moment I am torn because I wanted Poch back instead of Conte. Last season by the end he had won me over because of his success on the field. This season I just don't see his impact on a better squad although I do concede that injuries haven't helped.

I will also concede that levy's record of manager hires isn't great and the plan seems muddy at best. But I also see other clubs struggle. Aside from City and Pool the top teams (actually all teams now) change managers at a rapid clip so this doesn't feel like a Levy thing.

I also see a pretty impressive net spend in the past 3.5 years so we have changed how we operate, even if the final product doesn't reflect it yet.

I guess if I have to choose between levy and Conte I'll go (not blindly, as I have plenty of criticisms) with the guy who I think loves the club and has done a lot for it versus the guy who I don't think cares that much and who isn't producing the football and increasingly the results that his handsome pay slip should demand.

I'd rather not choose though. I hope levy backs him this window with a couple more signings for the first team and, starting tonight, Conte starts to get a better tune out of the team. And we have a strong end to the season like last year.

But another part of me is skeptical and just wants Poch back as he brought me some of the best years supporting the club and clearly genuinely cares. To win under Conte would be great. To win under Poch would be special.

It's us because we've been in and around the other 5 for so long. I get that it could have been anyone else but it isn't it's us and every time we look like we are moving in the right direction the funding dries up.

I was told her and her brother support Liverpool. Imagine if that sequence of events happened that I outlined :ROFLMAO:
Yes they do, Joe said she applied for a job at Liverpool once.
I think she was engaged to Craig Johnston at one stage (as thought he might have gotten involved with us when I heard that)

What a thoroughly depressing situation. Cannot support this club any longer whilst Levy is in charge. Especially if he sacks Conte.

I’ll be cancelling the ST ive had for 20+ years with no hesitation

Well Liverpool are up for sale....

They wouldn't but it would be a dream come true if they sold us and brought them to fund his kids childhood dreams.

Yes, and that's an achievement that should be acknowledged.

This thread seems a bit hyperbolic to me and to suggest people protest with no info is a bit odd.

All for getting Levy out but cannot see it happening any time soon. NUFC fans protested Ashley for years before anything came of it.

Even if you want to protest levy/enic. The team still needs support for those that will be at the ground.

The dross he wanted rid of are gone? Who’s left?

Lloris who he was so close with, he had his World Cup in his office?

Davies who he was close with, Dier who was a mainstay in every one of his teams?

Sanchez who he personally wanted, who he dropped Alderweireld for, who he berated a journalist for disrespecting him?

Winks who he brought through himself, and who was defending him in the media days before his sacking?

Son? Kane?

It will be interesting to see what happens if we win tonight on social media as people are fickle as fuck on there but every tweet the club has put out today has been inundated with ENICOUT posts afterwards. It has never been like this. More people are definitely sitting up and taking notice. Have a look.
