Clown show in full flow now. Our squad being shown up again against a decent squad. I said during the summer that the window wasn't good, and sad to say I was right. We needed to upgrade our wingbacks, and and old man on a free wasn't what we needed. Sess no matter the little improvement just isn't it. Likewise Dier, Davies, Sanchez. Emerson, and yet there they are, still stalwarts of our team.
It'll definitely take time and numerous windows, but the summer has done nothing really to improve our first 11 beyond a few squad options, which are now rendered pointless by injuries due to low numbers. It's going to be a slog of a season I fear.
