If Mourinho really is refusing to sell then this sort of performance doesn’t really help us much…

It would be one thing if he played for an Atalanta or a Lazio but given that he plays for José bloody Mourinho, it’s very tricky.

Jose must hold a grudge against Levy and has just won a trophy and gotten some good transfers in. He clearly wants to go for it this season. It has never made sense why he’d be OK selling his best young prospect easily to us tbh. To me at least.

I don't know if we will sign him or not but the longer it goes on the chances will diminish IMO.
Get the feeling that Roma are Playing us just like Inter with Bastoni.

Subbed off now. That performance really highlighted why Conte wants him. Perfect squad option for the wing forward positions

We aren’t in any rush that’s why it’s taking a while, hopefully if we shift Gio this week we will tie it up.

He was stretching for it by the looks of it too though, sometimes you just need to get it on target with decent contact. He wasn't going to lift it over the keeper or get much accuracy at full stretch.

Hes surely for sale at the right price and Id imagine he would be getting a significant pay increase coming to the prem.

You cant read fuck all into the way hes acting during a game in my opinion.
