50m quid is a lot of money but I do rate him. That Everton team was utterly shambolic but he still managed decent numbers, he's a pressing machine, and Conte loves a shithouse (see Diego Costa). Can also cover LW and CF so will get good game time.

Yeah great squad rotation option. Definitely prefer having a versatile player as Kane backup.

Not a massive fan of his. On the plus side he can play across the front 3 including as a number 9 where he has played for everton and the national team

OP followed by Romano.

I do think there are better forwards out there for that sort of money, but it’s not an egregiously terrible deal if it happens. He fits the mould of a forward who is physical and strong aerially while also great out wide on either side. A fantastic profile for a backup across the front line while being more than good enough to start in any of the 3 attacking positions. Knows the league, is generally pretty good in front of goal, a clutch player, and wears his heart on his sleeve. Bit expensive but doesn’t mean he isn’t quality. If anything it’s be funny to see him and Romero on the same team.

Perfect signing. Works like a dog, great player, versatile. Hopefully Winks in the other direction + 35m euros. Who says no.

I like him, great character. Immense work rate. Only thing is he and Romero hate each other

I'm all for this. He gives everything every match. They love him in Brazil, and he's meant to be a really great person.
We really need a new Lamela and this guy fits the bill.

Sorry but I think this would be great. Finally someone who can genuinely play on the wing and up front. He also works his bollocks off and is an absolute shithouse.

He’s a shithouse although I warmed to him a lot with his merciless social media trolling of Liverpool.

€60m is pretty much £51m.

If that was made up of £30m + Harry Winks, then this would be a great deal for us, as he’s undoubtedly a squad upgrade on Winksy. Even £35m + HW.

Yep.

Hes very well liked by the players, the coaches and Tite. Also the media speak well of him.

He does a lot of Neymars dirty work but he also chips in with key goals.

He's one of those players that on the surface looks a bit rough around the edges but has that ability to be in the right place right time. He's also a good finisher to and importantly for Conte, will run all day.

Think a player style like his is needed. Another flexible forward who knows how to score. Would definitley be an upgrade to Bergwijn.

Would people prefer him or Jesus? Both sound like they will be a similar price.

We ain’t getting many better strikers this window unless Martinez comes this would be a good buy and £50m for a forward is why we have the £150m in the first place so we can buy a striker and still get other players.

If Conte wants him, then I'm all for it. Do I rate him? Nope. But then, what the fuck do I know? I just watch the game :ROFLMAO: I trust Conte's judgement
