So glad they lost today. Seeing those Ukraine flags with a Chelsea crest made me feel physically sick. I know Roman's views aren't held by every single Chelsea fan, but it still felt super forced.

We don’t know his views.

He needs to come out and condemn the invasion or never be allowed back ingo football.
He barely talks and the time to do it was when he put the statement out last night, seeing as the killing is happening as we type. That was the opportunity, he said nothing. More concerned with protecting assets.

Possibly concerned as much with protecting his family too. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes and its useless to speculate. That said, whether he is currently complicit or not, he UK needs to act.

Im aware of this-Chelsea need to clearly distance themselves form Putin - The club should be put under some pressure to issue a real statement of content on his views whether, his for or against the invasion.

His plan to install himself in a public arena ie Chelsea and use that as a shield, has already worked. There is absolutely no reason as to why he wasn’t named in the first round of sanctions, so he’s already bought himself more time than he should have had.

All Chelsea supporters have lost is a trophy, Im sue they will get over it - some people have lost their home/family/and possibly their country. I hope they reflect on current times and then multiply it by a 1000 (not that its measurable in any way against a football defeat) and try to understand what their clubs financial dealings support such action and protest to get him out.

It would be rather two faced of Chelsea to condone a man who has indirectly help fund the the last 20 years of success. Don't bite off the hand that feeds you comes to mind..

Yes agree, - its shows where they are as a club. They can always do whats right and get rid. Many Chelsea supporters of a certain age will not sit comfortably with this and would want him out. Its blood money for a despot club.

It really sunk in the other day that buying success is not the way forward. They believe they enjoy football which they don't, they only enjoy rubbishing the bigger clubs with genuine history. All they have done in the last 20 years is pissed on everyone from a great financial height whilst employing mercenaries to win their battles.
