100% people keep going on about the death of football etc etc. This is what we all accepted years ago. Is what it is.
The last sentence Riggi.....to be honest, I've become disillusioned the past 2/3 years with the ££ of the game. What was typically a weekly ritual watching the Lily Whites...has been set aside for other *more important 2 to 3 hour weekend event like hanging with the family ?

We can bet that by the time we played these filthy scums we wil be the one with more injuries than now and they will be having their full squad back and all.

What a disgrace the PL are. Wasn't even going and I am fuming. Can't imagine how those who forked out for travel feel. Arsenal got lucky here make no mistake. Ridiculous decision.

PL have made a rod for their own backs now with their statement.
They have stated that if COVID plays any factor in player availability the game can be postponed. So you can have one player test positive or eight, outcome now has to be the same.
Absolutely shambolic decision that’s been made, with no consideration given to the scum’s conscious decision to loan out player this week.

I simply do not believe they cannot field a team

Anyone who has already set off on long journeys (from abroad etc.) should really kick off on social media about this.

Fuck Arsenal and fuck the PL.

This is absolute nonsense and calls the integrity of the wholes season into question.

The report does not offer any player Covid positive cases just fatigued/international duty and suspended . I know there are 100s posts explaining this but am I missing something here - why is it called off. Arsenal should’ve been offered - play or forfeit the points .

We were all brought up to believe English football is not corrupt-it is, it’s just not done in a blatantly open way.

every year I fall more out of love with the prem, this is another nail in the coffin, joke of a organisation

If the ppl in charge of the PL was in charge of any other organisation it would go bankrupt.

Luckily for them they sell one of the world's most popular franchises and it's almost impossible to fail. Allthough they try their best with VAR and rulings like todays.

There will be plenty of opportunities for this game to be played.

The Rennes game we tried to get the deadline extended.
But still, we now have 4 games less compared to city and more. Which means we will need to either play 2 games a week or add some weeks for this season (which won't happen)

So i hope we will try not to play this game.

The thing is all this does is actually penalise us because we cannot continue to have games postponed. We are already a lot of games behind and will have to make up those games in a very short period of time.

We should make our doctors say everyone is injured and bullshit the system aswell until all our best players are back.
This. Any possibility of us asking for postponement in the future of another outbreak is practically zero. We will definitely be made to play with reserve players. This is really a double standard and corrupted yet unprecedented move from PL.

In previous seasons I don't recall a team having injuries and players away at AFCON and requesting for a game to be postponed.

The PL have fucked this up and clubs are taking advantage.

in an argument with a gooner

Right because as always with loan deals it's the team being GIVEN the player that get to dictate terms. Need that big 250k loan fee for transfers do they, those players needed to be rushed out or else what?

And you do keep players on the off chance you need them, like we have done with Bergwijn because Son is injured.
