It seemed to me that he said that he is expecting us to jump on some opportunity to buy a CB in the final week but whatever. I don't think he has any new info.

The latest gloat bleat is not ideal whichever way you look at it. Matt Law had hinted at this type of equity deal for financing in one of his articles a while back but it's seemingly not there when it needs to be.

He also said we need to sell and would probably not hear anything before last week of window if anything i January as it is difficult

What seems clear however is us needing to sell before we buy, which no doubt will drag on.

Trouble is we don’t have many easily sellable assets that would bring in what we would need to improve the squad
