I'll give him sort of a pass on the summer.

Romero looks great, Emerson is solid in a back 4 but isn't fit for this new system. Gil & Sarr we have no idea yet.

Gollini is terrible though.

All the manager craziness + the possibilities of having a windfall of Kane cash that didn't ever come through probably made dealings difficult with big money targets or cheaper backups.

But needs to add a lot of quality two this team in the next 2 windows.

I questioned him in the summer and I'm questioning him now.

Needs to pull his finger out.

Is he another fraud ?

All talk the talk, no walk the walk. He seems busiest when the window is shut yet there's no movement when half of the window has passed. Genuinely appalled.
Couldn't possibly be projecting here, lads?

What ever we do we should be sacking 90pc of the scouts involved in looking at players. Ndombele and Doherty must have been scouted by Stevie wonder and Ray Charles

There’s absolutely nothing knee jerk about it. Romero on loan aside (which even then gives the player the power to decide if he wants to stay here or not), Paratici has been an utter disaster since he joined us, from the managerial search to the summer window.

He’s got a LOT to prove in this window and the summer.

I guess I don't really understand what's his fault at this point. He took over a mess, he (has now) landed us one of the best coaches in the world.

Emerson was good in a flat back 4, he's bad at wingback but that wasn't why he was brought in.

I get the attacking options but who's to say Levy gave him any money to work with? There's always a looming cloud at Spurs and their transfer business and it's so difficult to put blame on the people who scout players as there's no telling if they get to do their job to their full ability.

Hitchen is more culpable than Paratici atm

Doesn't he pretty much head up our scouting department?

Its crazy. Hitchen does and he has had a say in transfers such as Bergwijn. Yet he appears to receive massive praise from ITKs, very odd.

I’ll sound like a broken record if I list off all of Paratici’s mistakes so far but the headlines are:
1. He chased a sexual, homophobic tosser and only ditched the deal when fans kicked off.
2. He convinced Levy to appoint Nuno despite Levy having serious reservations.
3. He signed 5 players in the summer and only improved one player in our first XI who may yet decide that Tottenham isn’t for him because he is here on a loan.
4. He allowed Bale and Vinicius to leave and didn’t replace them
5. He failed to sign a back up striker for Kane despite the clear need for one.

I don’t see how some fans are able to defend him if I’m honest.

Yeah, he needs more than one window to be really judged.

He only joined the club late June, had to judge the squad, had to evaluate with Nuno what was required (Nuno apparently told him he wanted Sanchez to stay, which meant no further CBs were required), and had to find good deals as there was no substantial money for big deals which has been clarified by journos.

As you say Romero is solid. Emerson is good in a back 4. Gil looks promising and Sarr is for the future. Even Gollini was fine tonight apart from the goal, and GKs need time and confidence in a new team.

It was never gonna be a window where we went for big change because Nuno was not the man we really wanted, so why back him, he needed to be able to fully assess the squad, what we have, what we are missing and the funds weren't there.

If we don't look too clever after this summer's window then I think he'll have failed. But he's been judged unfairly I think.

Not singling you out but I keep on see people say this and he has looked good in parts but he’s also looked totally reckless and really easy to wind up. Plus he’s been injured the majority of the time here. I’m sure he’ll be fine, but so far the jury has to be out if a balanced view is given.
