What I will say about Pau Torres, is he isn’t perfect, but I think he is a perfect fit next to Romero because each of their weaknesses is the other’s strength. Pau struggles at times in the channels with pace and aerially. Romero is elite at aerial duels and jockeying in the channels against quick players. Romero is average on the ball in terms of progressive passing, and he leaves space in behind when pressing up, although the latter isn’t a bad thing because more than not he gets it spot on. Pau’s positioning and covering of defensive partners is one of his best attributes, and his progressive passing both through the air and on the ground is elite. I would say that although it’s a good pair, these players are almost complete opposites, and that sometimes isn’t the best, and I do want both CBs to be good in the air, but in terms of what the defence is still missing, Torres has all of the attributes and does them at an elite level.

I doubt City are paying £150m (maybe they would offer a deal, with add-ons that get to £150m) - and certainly not offering that at this stage of the negotiation.
I thought the whole point was that we're not negotiating? He has a price and it's up to City to meet it

I'd agree with all of that except the first and last points. I think its still in the balance regarding Kane as to whether or not they will meet our terms. They will need to do a lot of back tracking to do so. Lets face it though they financially can if they choose to. It' more a battle of principles than anything else now, Winks looks determined to stay(the *****).

So to be clear depending on the Harry we should either be pissed off he wants to leave or pissed off he wants to stay. Fickle bunch aren't we!?

City have come back again for HK and will be back again. More ITK to come on that.

Certain fundamental truths at play. Levy always has a number. If you are not close to the number, the answer is no. City always has money and will continue to make a mockery of FFPR. They can afford whatever the number is that Levy has. There will be more salvos as Kane wants to go, City wants him and it is just money. Also, as ever, Spurs only become the destination of choice for most CL level players, when the CL teams they want become impossible. Thus, deals will, as ever, go down to the last.

Current truths at play too. We play City at the weekend. No way we sell HK before that game. I would be shocked if he played any part (get ready for not match fit or Modric not mentally fit). It is a buyers market. Lots of teams in a world of financial hurt. All ITK I have read and heard suggests that Spurs are fine and have money to spend (not just Hercules). Nuno and FP are new too. We are in a state of transition. HK sale can (and I'll say will) permit 2-3 quality purchases that immediately improve the first team without going in to a deep hole.

Cannot wait to get beyond the HK ITK and see ITK about all of the players that need to be gone. Crickets.
We're selling Winks and Dier to Grasshoppers?

Football Insider claimed that he wanted to come to Spurs - it's all very confusing!

Yeah, one is a well established, respected journalist who while a pinch of salt is needed and has a tendancy to use moronic phrases (here we go) is seen as genuine at least.

But, the other has 'insider' in his name.

I'm torn....

I noticed that Sky sports ripped off his catchphrase in a recent tweet.
