Yeah, i have massive doubts over Torres' defensive ability and physicality. He's not very mobile. I would much prefer Lacroix!

ITK has been quieter this week, but we have been spoiled in the weeks previous.

All the ITK says stay calm, its under control.

Whilst Journo stories about Martinez and Vlahovic have caused 5 alarm panics across the Player Threads...

I still believe and will stay in my happy place.

ITKs keep up the good work.

Reason for that is maybe that the ones reporting it (Fab/diMarzio) have been very much on the money the whole summer...

Was massively put off Torres watching him in the Euros and Olympics. He was absolutely shocking.
At the Euros he was playing on the right hand side of the partnership as a left footer which is incredibly awkward, at the Olympics he was probably just knackered because he’s been playing consistently for like a year now

Why would City bid in Euros? I appreciate Romano may just be communicating in the currency he’s familiar with but then the Euro number would be with decimal places and not the £. Which at 130m Euros is 127.5m pounds and therefore a rather odd bid.

Romano’s translating the post for his audience, that won’t be the exact figure.

€150m is currently £127.6m, so we should infer that City are bidding in the region of £125-130m, rather than assuming this is the precise bid.

I also remember in Levy’s PR vid he did during the manager search he was asked about Kane and he said that Fabio is the one who will decide which players come and go. Clearly he’s gone back on that.
Or maybe FP using Levy's reputation to squeeze as much as he can, before he pulls the trigger?

Romano’s full of shit

Its not that he is full of shit , more that he gets used a lot from clubs propaganda / negotiation plays and he seems complicit in doing so aswell with certain stories knowing they are 'empty talk' stories. This new derisory offer that everyone knows will not fly, its just City dirty owners stoking the fire and being knobs on purpose

IMO he’s just a walking news aggregator who gets bits of info, usually at the very end when the deals are done, but most of it is waffle and guess work with lots of “maybe possibles”

Not wishing to come across as the 'forum police'.

Might be for the best if some were to heed @Archibald&Crooks advice regarding taking detailed discussion, and or, same opinions over and over about money, players and journalist reliability to relevant threads away from this one.

Heading into the crucial few weeks of the window, be a shame to lose access. (y)

And then he broke the Gil deal for example...

Transfers are actually a lot of ifs and maybes. Its not that his word is gospel but he is definitley well connected...

Imagine the scenario:

Atl. Madrid signs Vlahovic before Kane leaves, Martinez signs a new contract and we end up with Braithwaite.
I'm of the opinion that you get your replacement sorted before you sign off on Kane leaving. Otherwise letting him go is a massive gamble.
