I would imagine there are quite a few transfer deals already in the pipeline awaiting the Romero news and with fees probably pre-agreed. Fabio will not have been sitting on his bum waiting for Atalanta to make their minds up and will also have tried to negotiate other prices before the Harry Kane situation developed into a 'definite sale' scenario and clubs tried to take advantage.
It is also my opinion, as stated earlier, that once Cristian is definitely 'on board' then other negotiations should be concluded (including sales) in a relatively short time. It would be such a refreshing change to watch Sky Deadline Day knowing we had finished all business. Let someone else scrape the barrel for a change.
