Hate to bring a downer but think there's plenty of 'fans' vowing to bombard the poor girl with abuse relating to her dad. Saddens me seeing that on twitter.

Twitter was a great news outlet, actually very funny at one point, honest but also ridiculous debates. Now its poisonous and petty. Shame.

But back to topic in hand. How are we going to cope with being linked to 10 players in each position every window under Paritici?!?!?

I used to follow the aggregator accounts as a new source mainly but now it’s pointless as they really spin the material and never give links to the source material, which kind of defeats the purpose.

It’s a shame as they used to be a good source but now I just pick them up on here. Paratici keeps them busy, that’s for sure!

I know it counts for Jack Shit. But I cut out social media & news a few months ago and it's amazing how much of a difference it's made to my everyday life.

There's too much negativity that comes along with those things, especially if you're not in the best of places mentally.

You should give it a try, even for a week. I guarantee you'll feel better as a result.

It’s a bit like not watching the news and the constant negativity. Especially during lockdown, the constant stream of bad news was horrendous. Turning it off for a few weeks made such a difference.

Yep that's the very reason I stopped with the news. Just scaremongering & agendas (differing on BBC or ITV and their different political stances).

I know it's a kind of selfish way to look at it. But the world isn't half as ugly when you don't spend half of your time looking at it.

This has already happened. I went on her Tik Tok and there are comments below her videos saying "tell your dad to sell the club" "your dad is killing our club" etc...etc...

My guess is very badly. We will get linked to three midfielders for example, but only sign one. When that player doesn’t work out and one of the ones we were linked to goes to Leicester and does well, everyone will lose their shit.

I've never been on Twitter. I'm not sure you'll be missing too much although I'm obviously not best placed to comment. Not using it keeps you away from the negative and toxic elements of the platform and the good stuff, in relation to Spurs in this example, tends to get shared anyway....sometimes many many times.

I just use Twitter as a news aggregator. My account is private, but I follow plenty of people to keep up. It is pretty useful that. I would totally recommend its use in this fashion as you get to avoid the cesspit that is the rest of twitter. (y)

I do sometimes feel I'm missing out~ but then I often see many people in here an other sites running it down.
Now I choose not to go there~ I was once ob Facebook for a month or so not going back there either.
