Not only is Winks shit, but he's also deluded about his own ability, mouthing off like he should be in the 1st 11 or that he needs game time. I'm sure there is a league 1 side that could take him?

This is what infuriates me more than anything. He mouthed off how he should be in the team, and when he plays he is utter turd. Not only is he crap at football, he's toxic and deluded.

He wasnt always this bad was he? Think hes obviously suffering from a complete lack of confidence in his own ability. Being booed and sighed at when making a wayward pass was hardly going to help that but can totally understand the fans frustration at the time.

He used to be decent. He had a solid 2 years when Poch was manager but maybe a mix of the ankle injury and him believing his own hype ( especially after the Madrid game ) have seen his performances plummet precipitously. If we don't have any buyers in the summer, we have to organize a year long loan for him. There was talk Valencia were interested in January, maybe we could revisit that deal.
73 minutes today. Absolutely staggering that's happened! I just don't know what he does, or gives to the team.
I've always thought he needed to be braver on the ball, and bring more to his game. But his regression has been incredible. I mean the guy's a fucking International, but Sunday league players don't hide and ball watch like him.

He's not agile enough, doesn't have a burst of pace to get away from players and is too safe with his passes. Whenever he does try an adventurous pass he completely botches it.
He's not the level required and if we stick with him we'll be bought down to his level.

Pointless midfielder.
Winks, Sissoko, Ndombele, GLC, PEH. Not a good enough midfield for a club looking to be in the top 4 and win trophies.
Only two of those can pass forward and neither of those two can play in a midfield two against decent opposition.

This. Winks Sissoko and maybe PEH need moving on. PEH is good at certain things but he lacks pace. We need a kante or a ndidi type. Hopefully Skipp can be this be Ive not seen the workrate or pace from him. Maybe he can just sit in front and let us have 2 proper midfielders playing.

I feel sorry for Reguilon when Winks passed it back to him in the lead up to the 2nd goal. It was such an unnecessary pass back to him.
I missed watching Dembele, in the position that Winks was in, either defending the ball and then wriggling his way out or turn to lay it off to someone else. Ndombele would have done the same.
Criminal to put Reggie under even more pressure.

It was hardly the easiest spot in the world for Winks but its just more evidence he plays with his head down.
Tom Carroll never went mouthing off to the press about how good he is and how he deserves more playing time. He just kept his head down and played like shit in silence. I can respect someone like that even if I don't rate them.
