For sure. I maybe shouldn’t have painted them all with the same brush although if you watch the video, there’s a considerably large group singing it. My post that you’ve replied to was more pointed to the fact that the poster said they’d rather stand with those singing it than me who is disgusted by it.

i’ll stand with them because theyre doing something i agree needs to happen.

Alternatively we can sit here, doing nothing and have another 20years of enic and nothing to show for it.

I’ll stand with them over someone who paints everyone with the same brush. one clip of one chant and suddenly everyone theres a ‘chav’. Dont stand for that mate

Oh not this big nosed **** from WeAreTottenhamTV again - this idiot fuck needs to stop getting so much air time.

Imagine pitching up outside the stadium to sing songs about how you wish Daniel Levy dies. Imagine thinking for one second that's how any sane, normal person would or should behave themselves. Grown men doing this. Grown **** chav men.

Football is infected with these types of pricks, still to this day. We might have less of them than the likes of West Ham or Millwall, but these protests are just confirming that we as a fanbase still have a core of absolute thick ****s, the types who go on stag do's to trash foreign towns, or sing songs about "German Bombers" etc. Just the worst kind of ignorant twats.

And it's still inexplicable how fit this big nosed prick's girlfriend is.

Not me at the protest. Just me here reminding people that WeAreTottenham lads are long-standing members of SC so let’s be friendly, eh?

And yes, he’s punching.

Sorry, letting my anger at those chants get the better of me after seeing that video and a couple of others.

Can talk about lack of trophies and on field ambition, ESL and Stratford, ticket prices and the greed, NFL and property development priorities over football or fan, THST and the deceit etc etc so much to talk about and gain momentum with and get more on board, as much as I can’t stand levy wishing his death is just wrong and not part of my football agenda. I can see it also feed into a narrative where ENIC can actually gain more support...

Agree. Want ENIC, Levy and that leather faced Shar Pei in spectacles sitting in the Bahamas, Patagonia or wherever he is gone but wishing deaths on them etc has no place in any of this.

A bit of heat on Levy isn’t a bad thing imo. He’s generally been a force for good at Spurs, but he’s got some major calls wrong in the past couple of years which has led him (and us) to this reduced state.

Like a lot of others here, I’m no great fan of ENIC, but it’s difficult for me to imagine us being in a better position should they decide to sell. We’ll either end up the play thing of human rights abusers or added to some American billionaire’s sports portfolio. At least Levy cares about the club.

Best case scenario is he learns from the mistakes that have been made and gets someone in to help him manage the football side of the business who isn’t Steve Hitchin.
Spot on.

I always think protesting is a bit like negotiating. You want a pay rise from your boss, you don’t ask for what you want, you ask for more, something you know you’ll never get. Enic and Levy aren’t going anywhere—and as many have pointed out, any alternative could well be worse—but demanding they get out, you might at least get Levy to be more transparent with the fans and make better decisions in the future.

That said, singing about Levy dying is all wrong.

If you’re happy to stand with people wishing death on a human being then I am fine with you standing away from me.
Every single person that has attended this protest in the middle of a pandemic and while there is another protest taking place against Israel's killing of innocent civilians and children is a disgrace to humanity

No mention of the protest in the top 30 trends for the UK or London on Twitter and there’s a whole load of irrelevant shite that is.

How much money are you willing to put up? ENICs stake is worth 1.35 billion, 350 million of which is Levy’s

I understand the right to these protests but they're ultimately not going to do much, there's no camera's for one so it won't be seen on TV or across the world and it looks like a bit of a piss up and day out, fair play to the ones that are going there in good faith I suppose.

Keep saying this but the best way to protest is to organise fans to leave the ground on a certain minute, Liverpool did that when they walked out the ground on the 75th min I think and the team lost focus and they conceded, that would get far more coverage than a few hundred people standing on Tottenham High Road chanting Spurs songs.

Honestly though they are just borne out of frustration because we're a bit shit right now and currently going backwards, I think that we wouldn't be seeing anywhere near the numbers that we're seen now if we were sitting in the top 4 and had a final to look forward to but that's the nature of football fans just very fickle and reactionary.

The way to effect Enic, is turn up,at the NFL, protest outside and inside.

As long as the fans are not obstructing anything...dont want to be hurting our own revenue streams, that would be entirely brainless.

Why is that a good idea?

What benefit is there to protesting something which should be generating the club more money which hopefully we will see on the pitch once covid happens. What message would you hope is being sent out that doesn't cost the club and not the owners money? There's no evidence to support that they've ever taken any NFL related revenue out of the club.

I can understand Spurs fans protesting attending a football match if they're unhappy, that sends a message that we're not going to pay top prices when you're doing whatever it is Spurs fans are upset about at that particular moment. The visual alone is enough to have an impact of a half empty stadium but I've seen this NFL comment a couple of times now and it just seems like something where fans think they think they're being smart thinking they're hitting the club where it hurts but it's flatly stupid.

History suggests if you want something done then a protest that affects a revenue stream is probably the best way to do it.

But as the protest focuses partly on the amount of money spent, negatively affecting our income will result in less money being spent. Many fans, like myself, will not support his action.

I think this is special case there where we're looking at a revenue stream which the fans of the club aren't making up the majority of who is consuming the product though. I think affect the revenue stream but make it Spurs centric by doing saying we won't continue to pay these prices if the issue is the amount of money spent.

I agree. I don’t want them to do it at all and I don’t think the majority of the fans support this action.

Levy really is piss taker to paying fans and season ticket holders.

I do not live in England anymore but being out of the bubble of it all and seeing everything from afar so many things they do are so so wrong towards supporters in my opinion everything just looks and sounds like a rip off.

The prices of season tickets are mental , numerous club shirts season after season released at absurd costs some shit design and strange non traditional colours as well with no input from supporters , proposed furlough of staff , proposed ESL, The long extended time at Wembley and crediting fans back not refunds of money ( I believe could have that one wrong ) , the huge priority of NFL and American market is irritating as hell. There’s probably many more things .

Oh and to add the 65 quid for a ticket to the villa game is an utter disgrace . How does the every day fan afford this ?

What an earth has happened to the traditions of this great club.

Pretty sure we’ve always been one of the most expensive English clubs to watch.

What traditions are you talking about?
