It might have been only Sheffield United, but under Jose we would have looked lost and scared.

Huge turn around In a short time.
Players pressing, wanting the ball (lo Celso looked good in cm!) And making runs off the ball.

Obviously more energy, and a better performance than the final. But so hard to judge these games, they're the worst team in the league.

Liked the energy, and Bale's finishing was superb. Nice to actually enjoy watching the game.

Good interview with Basham there and I think it was interesting that he highlighted the composure of our strikers. I think sometimes we take for granted just how good they are but you only have to look at Chelsea to see that our front players are actually exceptional.

And yet they were all 50-70 yards from goal for the majority of games under the last manager.

I can't make up my mind if he's lost interest or isn't 100% fit. Hope it's the latter. Barely smiled today when the players were celebrating the goals.
Really? To be fair it’s the kind of time of the season when heads get turned like Walker final 5 games under poch season when we ran Chelsea closeish. That cup loss and barely competing could’ve been the final straw for him but I didn’t notice he wasn’t smiling when we scored etc if you watched him that closely and his body Lang etc was bad then that is a concern as as fans we can tell sometimes if a players head is elsewhere etc

dele was rubbish before Jose

Well I'm not sure this observation has anything to do with the point I was responding too but just to bring it back to Tanguy - Dele Alli has put up the kinds of numbers Tanguy can only dream about for multiple seasons.

Now he may have lost all of that ability and desire but he has shown it and reaped the results over multiple seasons. When Ndombele shows the required determination and consistency to achieve that kind of output then, maybe, you'll have a point.

Dele started today because he's clearly shown more in training than Ndomble - a player who has the skill set to be the best midfielder in the world. The issue here is not Dele, not Mason but Tanguy Ndombele's apparent desire to piss all his talent up a wall. It's a crying shame.

Play your best players, set them up as a team and give them clear instructions, play to their strengths. Play forwards more than backwards. I think I'm getting this management shit.
