Dele will not be far behind him

Arguably not the best move for him (except financially) because I'm not sure he has the status and ego to control the divas at PSG. I see them as a team who need a massive kick up the arse from someone they all respect enough to take it. Is Porch really that guy? I'm not so sure

Personally I think Man Utd would've been the perfect job for him but I'm very glad he's not gone there for obvious reasons

Good luck to him anyway, if nothing else I'm sure it'll be a nice little earner for him. He may still end up at United down the road anyway.

Would be a nice move for him, and might help us out with Dele in the short term.

I guess Tuchel also becomes the favourite for the Arsenal job? Would seem like an instant upgrade on Joe 90.

Will be interesting if true. Dele would be so good there I would guarantee he gets back into the England side as a key player.

It would be great to see Poch back in football at a good team. I so enjoyed going to matches when he was at Spurs. Sure the last eight months or so we’re not as good but in that time we got to a Champions League final!!! We won a lot of big matches with coming back from behind. We finished 2016/7 season with 47pts form the last 54 and played great football. Somehow people seem to think winning a League Cup, if we do, against the likes of Stoke and Brentford would be better than all this. Words fail me. Football is a sport, it’s a game, it’s meant to be enjoyed, it’s meant to entertain, it’s meant to be glorious.

Anyway lets wait and see what happens

Juve should've emplyed him. That really was the perfect job. His style with their traditions could've taken them to the CL.

You managed to write a paragraph and undo all your work at the end with that 'Football is a sport, it's a game ... ' You play to win games, we haven't won a thing in years and you're happy?

Sorry, the more you post the more you're on the windup.

It will be good to see him back in management again and not as a Premier league rival. On one hand he'll have the spending power. On the other hand he has a lot of superstars to control. I hope he wins something there. It also makes the tie with Barca more interesting.

I can see Alli going on loan there as I think it suits all involved.

If the one time Stoke City legend Choupo-Moting managed the odd game and the occasional goal for PSG, then Alli should be prolific!

For me it really depends on what you do over recent years that determines success in the current time. We won a league cup under Ramos by beating Arsenal and Chelsea so when Harry took over there wasn't much pressure to win things. He turned around our league form and got us to the champions league (unlucky not to do it a 2nd time). After so long though you need to take the next step and the next step is to win something.

After failing with AVB it was Poch who took us forward and got us regular CL football. Again though after so long we needed to win something. I think Poch was the right man at the right club at the right time. The football was great and I loved it. For me it's the best time we've had in the Premier league. However we now need to win trophies and that makes Jose the right man for this moment in time. So while I would not necessarily rate winning a league cup higher than CL qualification it's what we need more at this time. That's why it meant so much for Liverpool to win the league because its been so long. We've qualified more times for CL than we've won trophies in this decade so I do think winning a trophy is so important at this time.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

You are, comfortably, by far and away, the worst poster on this forum.

I reckon you still have pictures stashed away somewhere of all your ex's, every so often you take them out, have a cry and a wank looking at them, using your own tears as lube.

Glad he's not going to United, that would've been horrible to see.

No way would Tuchel go to Arsenal, he's too big for them, surely?

I do feel you and others overrate Poch a tad. Did u ever feel confident going into a big match with Poch at the helm? We were very lucky reaching that CL final being ouyplayed by Ajax and City. The fact he felt the need to give out a biography at stage in his career is a big red flag to imo.

Best of luck to Poch and thanks for the memories, but if he doesn't dominate in France it's off to China next.

Some really pointless comments in here from both sides trying to get the other to bite.

It really is quite simple - genuinely wish you all the best Poch, apart from when you play against us.

Really? I couldnt have imagined that happening but then stranger things have happened

Yeah, especially the way Tuchel exited Dortmund but think it was Christian Falk (?), who's pretty reliable all things German football, said it was between him and Marco Rose.
