To be fair to Herc, it was 16:03 when he PMed us about it. I don't know if it was "public" before then but I hadn't seen it mentioned before he did.

Both ways is interesting. The one that I can think as a possible to Ajax would be Foyth. Van De Beek seems the one that has been linked. Only chance to make the money is to sell Ndombele as well. We'll be the outside choice for him though as I'm sure he's holding out for a bigger move.

Van De Beek would be a bit of a strange one if that's who Herc is referring to. Quite a similar player to Alli imo, excellent at finding the half-spaces and runs all day but not amazing on the ball during the build-up phase. Not sure where we'd even play him tbh.

As all ITK have said this window, the press have been on it this year for us. Ajax were keen on Sess on loan a few weeks back too...

id compare him more similar to Lo Celso. He is similar to what Dele was before he essentially became a second striker. Won’t go further because i don’t want trouble from the mods but this would be a strong move for us. Foyth, Sessegnon are only ones that make sense to move the other way.

Well for those who commented about Dragon info (next stop striker), and our seeming inability to walk and chew gum at the same time, I am guessing that if the Ajax stuff is true, that apparently we can spin multiple plates. I’m guessing that D1 meant that in terms of spending prioritization that a striker was and will be on the top of that list. Esp considering that we have to very carefully manage our limited funds.
