A straight swap would be a bad deal, but if they give us, say 20 mil + exchange I think I'm down. Brozovic is exactly the kind of player we need. Can defend well and good at long passes from deep. Would be ideal.

Brozovic is 15m rated midfielder at this rate ... Ndombele worth 55m minimum ... So 35-40m plus brozovic would not be a bad deal ... In january, inter also wanted to sell him for 12-15m

Ndombele is only 23 and has lots of time to improve. As much as I think Brozovic could do a good job for us,I'd rather keep Ndombele if we can only have one or the other.

I am big fan of swap deals, they happen all the time, so much so, i cant remember the last time 2 teams swapped players.

Last high profile one was Mikhytaryan and Alexis Sanchez. Agree not commonplace, but think they will become more common, especially in current circumstances

Where did you get that information from. I find it hard to believe, I mean he starts every game, has been playing his best football since being converted into a DM, is a world cup finalist and all that. On transfermarkt he is valued at 43 million. Last summer, what I heard, was they were close to selling him to Sevilla to finance another player for around 25 million pounds.

I would say 15m + Brozovic would be a fair deal, if we wanted to swap. Anything more we would be getting a good deal.

Personally I feel they are both around the £40 to £45m mark, Ndombele's stock has fallen this past year.
A straight swap wouldn't be too wide of the mark, especially if it allowed us to get rid of a player that doesn't figure in the manager's plans
Brozovic is the better player as things stand. Tanguy has age on his side.

Brozovic has suitors at Liverpool, Real and Barca though apparently.

From what I saw in this thread though, Inter only valued him at 15 million so it would be a bit cheeky to expect a straight swap for a player valued at over 40m

No, one person on this site made up that they wanted to sell him for £ 12m to £15m. He has £52m release clause. Inter rate him at a lot higher than £15m, and rightly so, he has played basically every game for them this season. He is a better player than Ndombele. Straight swap, maybe £5m delta tops. due to Ndombele age, but then Ndombele's wages are an issue, and we may have to take a hit due to another club taking them on.
Chances are we won't get him though, he can go to a better team than us, and those types of teams are interested.

Swapping Ndombele is the best idea. You are not going to be paid back what you bought him for last summer, so rather than taking a financial loss and buy a new player for that restricted amount of money, it's far better to get a player in return. I fully believe that we'll see many swapping Ndombele stories over the next weeks.

There's just that nagging suspicion that Ndombele could just be an incredible player. Almost guaranteed if he goes elswhere and the complete opposite if we keep him.
