Jol did not deserve to go like this. Yes if it came to the end of the season and we had Ramos in line then yes - a standing ovation a the last game and everybody would leave it with their heads held high, but it seems we are left with a caretaker manager yet again and all the progress we have made has been lost.
But this is Tottenham Hotspur, where the board seem to take particular pleasure in going behind the managers back and failing to keep anything in the boardroom. If they took this descision before the match - they couldn't even keep it a secret until half-time, complete shambles.
The board should be ashamed how could they sack MJ on the basis of what 10 games - if we look at the past 76 Premiership games, no-one was complaining then. They are a discredit to Spurs and if anyone is to leave it should be them.
