Why do I get the feeling that the people who run our club have somehow been planted by the goons to destroy us.

I know it's silly, but sometimes the behaviour of our wank infested chairman and board does get me wondering.

Levy was lucky tonight, it got very close in Park lane to chairman and or board out chants, hopefully he'll get some much deserved stick on Sunday, it might take that shitty smirk off his face when other teams score and beat us.

I anticipate a bottom-half table finish. Not trolling or anything, just being realistic. Will probably be happy to get second in the UEFA Cup group stage. At this point I don't really care so much for it, since it's a distraction from overhauling our league performances.

it's a real shame but unfortunately when you can only get one win in ten and the same problems we had two years ago are still there it had to happen, remember we had already lost to sunderland and been humiliated by Everton before the Ramos meeting.
I really wanted to be successful with Martin Jol, any other manager with this run would have had the crowd calling for his head before now which just shows how much we thought of him.

As much as i hate Joly going, and the way the board went about it. Still you can't knock the board, for the way they've helped turn the club around in recent years, along with Martin Jol too.

Give them some credit, at least.

Was there any ITK about this BEFORE it happened?

And I meant specifics. Not the usual Mystic Meg crap.

It was a sad day yesterday but something had to be done, I wish Jol the best for his future roles. But man alive I felt like I'd split from a boyfriend last night I was that gutted.
Long live BMJ wherever he may go!

This Kelmsley guys an ass hole, I used to like Levy but yesterday him, Commoli and Kelmsley looked fucking evil. Feel sorry for Jol, I dont think the results would have been this bad if he didnt have the intense pressure on him after the Ramos incident. Our defence has been shocking, and game by game you could see everyone of the other players just seem to get worse and worse. The Rot started with Robbo and last night finished with the strikers. The rest of the season looks like its going to be written off, Berba, Bale, Lennon feck even Chimbonda will probarly jump ship if we have another caretaker season. Pathetic.

Im gutted because he is such a nice fella, huge heart and wanted to be succesful, we all had a great relationship with him BUT he has never (chelsea apart) beaten a top side since he has been in charge we have found out on numerous occasions he is tatically inept and no match for the likes of wenger and co.

I had a benefit dinner with a client the other evening and Harry Redknapp was on our table, i grilled him bout spurs and he duly replied! He was offered the job last december and then we went on big unbeaten run so they stuck with jol but the reason they wanted him out before now and back then in december is because of his lack of work! he never goes to watch another game never the youth team or the reserves no games across europe or any in the prem league, apparently as soon as 1st team training is finished he is on his way home! Paul Kemsley speaks to harry most days and wanted him to take it but harry says he only wants to work for 2-3 more years so is happy to stick where he is.
he also mentioned that jol doesnt have a relationship with any other manager in prem league he says he is very private and never socialises??? just thought id pass it on.

So Harry has been dissing jol based on poison put about by KEMSLEY. Now THERE is a suprise!!!

This pretty much confirms what we have long suspected that it is Kemsley who has been spreading anti-Jol propaganda and plotting behind the scenes for months to bring about his downfall. How can anyone be expected to do his job when being actively undermined by his own employers?

And incidentally Jol is always at reserve games.

I am glad Jol has gone, he was shown up to be very limited lately and I think in the past the quality of players has got him through. Chapter over, time for the next one.

Oh and the board have done nothing wrong.

I'm fucking gutted. Last night couldn't have been a lot worse. Good luck to you Martin, wherever you go.

THFC have to learn from past mistakes and sort out our new boss, fast. Caretaker manager? Transitional season? Too fucking good to go down? Don't make me laugh...

Has there ever been a more popular manager sacked?

Mourinho. Another club run by ****s and a DoF who makes decisions for the manager but won't take the buck.

Oh and the board have done nothing wrong.

The Board pulled the rug from under Jol's feet after two games of the season. If they wanted him out they should have sacked him in May. Their argument was originally that he "couldn't take us to the next level". By their dishonesty and duplicity they have managed to make the club a laughing stock for two and a half months and to be able to change their reasons for Jol going to "our poor start to the season", which they have themselves effectively engineered.
Yesterday's surreally incompetent sacking of the two senior first team coaches, just before the start of an important cup match, beggars belief. It now appears that they are only "hopeful" of securing replacements "within the next couple of weeks", so we are effectively a rudderless ship until the situation is resolved. (Remember the Pleat-Venables hiatus in 1987?)
Having successfully disrupted the first team they are now moving on to both the development squad and the academy by moving the managers of both to cover for their totally mistimed sackings.
The gullible fools they use on message boards to disseminate the party line, known laughably as "ITK's", told us yesterday that Messrs Ramos and Poyet would be installed as the new coaching team "By next Wednesday". In any event, doubt has since been cast on that prediction, but even if true, why in heaven's name did the Board not wait until the new team were ready to start before sacking the current team?
The board have done nothing wrong? On the contrary, in this particular saga, they have done everything wrong.
I only hope that their arrogance and incompetence hasn't wrecked our season completely.
I personally rate Jol highly, but that is not the point. No one is irreplaceable, and had they done a professional removal job in the close season, so be it, but they have completely disrupted the season for the whole club.
So it's back to "transition".

This is the most gutted I have been about anything in football.

If only the club had not been caught with Ramos, things might have been so different. The media wouldn't have been hounding us so much, the players would have known who was in charge and Jol would have had the confidence especially to show his players who is in charge!

Martin Jol was the best thing to happen to our club in a very long time. The fact that even non-Spurs supporters liked him speaks volumes. He has a big heart, has clearly loved the club since he came and I am appalled that that same club could turn on him so vehemently.

Of course we'll never know the true story of what happened behind closed doors this fateful season, but from what the public have been able to see is a wonderful manager and great man dragged through the mud - and showing the greatest dignity in the face of it.

Good luck Martin. I hope we haven't seen the last of you - come back when Levy is gone!

I'm really angry right now, so this is going to come out as just a few non-coherant sentences.

Levy is a parasite.

Last night was horrible. absolutely horrible.
it was quite possibly my least favorite WHL moment. although, 'stand up for martin jol' was just beautiful.

It's like losing a friend. and in a way we all have.
That man cared about this club in a way I've not known since the days of Billy Nic.

I'm disgusted and furious with the board.
They've embarrassed themselves, the fans of THFC, and Martin Jol.
the fact the news filtered round the stadium and the entire crowd knew (probably before the players - I assume Jol was sworn to secrecy until after the game) is just fucking terrible.

and Hughton - best part of 30 years he's been with this club.
To be fair though - I wouldn't blame him for walking.

My advice to BMJ - put that 4mil in the bank, earn some interest, and when you have enough, take over the club. please.

like I said - Levy is a fucking parasite.

If you honestly believe that you are truly clueless. I didn't see Santini - the former French national team manager - doing anything of note with the players. Jol took the same group, turned our fortunes around, got us playing lovely football and groomed Carrick into an 18 mill player in the process.

Oh and the board have done nothing wrong.

Other than royally fucking up getting caught speaking to Ramos early in the season thus completely undermining Jol and destroying any chance he had of turning things round. I appreciate they have the clubs interests at heart but the way they went about it has been nothing other than destructive.

The one thing I do agree with is despite our opinions on Jol
that chapter is indeed behind us. It is time for a new start and I will offer the new management my full support. Let's just hope the board can manage to be a little more patient (and discreet) when they decide they have had enough and it's time to ring wholesale changes again.
