From the article that the video is attached to -

"The Argentine soccer player participated in the session in the Bético stadium although at a slower pace than the rest since he has just finished his vacation. The reincorporation of Lo Celso makes him coincide with Fekir , called to be his substitute in Betis."

Goes on to talk about the fact that it was thought he would have moved on by now to us or another team but the transfer hasn't happened.

Never mind.

1) Except it literally is nearly enough as we look like keeping Rose, Alderweireld and Eriksen, so adding Lo Celso will have us sorted.
2) We have signed 2 first team players.
3) None of the factors that led us to "fall apart" are present going into the new season.

I'm not as confident, but yes IF we add Lo Celso and use our youth setup we may have a chance.

But we lose CE, TA and JV next season... Those are 3 monumental players to replace. We leaving ourselves in the position of playing catch up. Oh forgot about Rose. Hope you right.

How does Lo Celso training tell us anything other than the fact he’s not here for a medical?

I'm all for debates/discussion on forums. That's part and parcel of being an SC member. However, it does get a teeny bit frustrating when those debates/discussions are incongruent with the topic of the thread. I get why some want to express their opinion about Poch and his frustrations or Levy and his obstinance. However, there are threads for discussing such topics... especially when they start to have nothing to do with the subject matter herein. In this case, most of us I think just want to use this section to discuss all-things Lo Celso. And it feels like over the last couple of days that a fair number of posts have almost nothing to do with the player.

Blathering over.

Now, on to Lo Celso. I'd like to think this will still happen, but at this stage I'm guessing it'll go down to the wire... and either us or them will have to blink at the 11th hour. Assuming it'll be them, as they have much to lose financially if they continue to play silly buggers.

It probably is not close to being done, but I don’t think you can tell that by the fact he’s gone to training

I would imagine he would be doing gym work if it is close to be being done. Not saying it won’t be done - just it isn’t that close.

I can't be bothered with any of this transfer stuff right now. My focus is solely on our huge Final in an hour and a half. A chance to really put the CL Final defeat behind us, fellas.

It's a combination I'd say, injuries would occur less if players weren't overplayed when returning, I think the answer to your debate lies somewhere in the middle.

oh totally agree, but we failed to sell any deadwood had a squad of 28 which ITK said was another reason we never purchased, and none of Poch plan A's where available (unless paying way over the odds) and then how many do you buy to help those 12 rest enough. our strongest 1st XI where all involved

so are you saying we should get rid of those 3 now before it's too late, or we should buy their replacements now to cover next summer?

if the later what 3 players should not be included at all in our squad for the next 12 months

On this point (and I'm sure someone in here will be able to tell me) don't Betis still owe PSG somewhere near this figure for the original transfer of Lo Celso?

And that matters in what way at all.
If they still owe transfer fee money for him before today, they still will tomorrow and still will in 2 to 3 years time maybe.
Just because they have since sold the player does not mean they have to settle the debt immediately to his former club at all.
