We all know how this window ends lads ! Has too much of a familiar feel now after such a good start but ndombele alone simply isn’t enough

Starting to feel that way! Especially with the news that Dybala was leaked by the PR team.. they done the same for pretty much every transfer window for past 10 years! Leaking to the press that we are interested in this or that player who would be a great signing but knowing full well we have zero chance in signing them as we won’t cough up the money to sign them.

I'm still looking for someone to really justify the hype around Dybala when you look at his international record, going missing in big games, lack of passing composure, and just a decent goalscoring record for by far the best team with hardly any competition in an inferior league.

I think here's way too much Football Manager and YouTube excitement going on. Personally, I don't want to sign him.

Well he basically single handedly eliminated reigning CL champions Barcelona in the 16/17 CL quarterfinals. Then knocked us out of the 17/18 CL when Juve’s backs were up against the wall.

Also I don’t know where you’re getting the passing composure idea from, it’s totally incorrect.

We aren't exactly renowned for completing transfers quickly, even if the links are true we've not long before the window closes in spurs terms.

Son can play up front aswell as most recognised strikers. I think he is good enough up top to be considered a striker
Plays as well as one, but isn't one. My point was we have 1 recognised strikers and rely on midfielders to fill the void... Son is a midfielder that fills the void when called upon, without a doubt, and Moura too, but still shouldn't be complacent enough o just rely on those 2 when Harry inevitably gets crocked. Strikers has always been a position we lacked cover in since the days of losing Berba, and we seem to be the only top 6 team who has 1 recognised striker... Granted he's up there with the best in the world, but see no harm in pursuing another

Depends what you consider a recognised striker. Son is playing in a front 2 and scoring goals (Similarly Moura) ...if that isn't a recognised striker, I don't know what is.

The days are gone of a classic 9 being important. Its all about the Salah, Son, Sterling approach.

The manner in which Dier danders around the pitch every week when he plays making wayward passes. He’s dropped his game yet he still played.
Right so when a player is composed and casual like Alli and Dier they're not trying? OK so the likes of Berbatov and Ginola didn't care much either then

Yeah its not ideal but for the purposes of this window there is just other areas that are more important to strengthen right now but if Son was to go upfront even more than he does now I can see him improving and becoming our other main striker rather than wing forward

Fair point mate, and agree we have more pressing areas, such as the wingbacks

So lukaku has now posted a selfie with what appears to be his agent and stating “Soon to be continued” so I wonder if that is a hint at a change in club. If inter Milan then we know all the news re Man U was rubbish

And when I say agent he’s wearing a shirt and has that agent look to him

I still wonder how a club "prepares" a bid.
I think it changes for every club. Daniel Levy goes over the figures one final time, then starts slapping and hyping himself up before screaming "for future gain!" and pressing 'send' on the first cheeky below asking price email.

What news was that? I've seen people in here saying they reckon that but is there any other news about it?
