I think for a young prospect like this it makes a bit more sense. If he's doing well it shouldn't be that hard to extend it (there might even be an option) but if he's clearly not going to cut it at Spurs we can shift him more easily.

Not adverse to him going back to Leeds for a season. Feel it's important that he's playing games at this stage of his career.
Add to this the Bielsa factor, and I think it's a win, win all round.

Haven’t seen anything of him, but always good to make signings with future potential like this. Hopefully he actually gets decent playing time with Leeds next season. Would have thought Beilsa would have given Poch assurances that this would be the case.
Seems a little pointless though to have a whole video interview etc seeing as he won’t be here for a year.

Interview with him on the Spurs app - it's like it was filmed before the loan back to Leeds was sorted. He talks about how he's looking forward to training with the Spurs players. Well, he's gonna have to wait a year!

I'd imagine we've arranged for him to join up for training with our squad during international breaks etc. Similar to when Alli joined from MK Dons.
