Don't get why people are so worried? It'll happen folks.
You don't get why people are a little worried?
Don't get why people are so worried? It'll happen folks.
I got to be honest, I can't stand this 'relax people' attitude. People have a genuine reason to be a little apprehensive.
I like most people are pretty confident we'll get our man but you can't help but feel the longer this drags on the more worrying it becomes. We are consistently told that things can change at any time.
But this isn't unusual, we all know the good and bad of Levy and he won't change his principles. If it means players come in on deadline day and spend 6 weeks in a hotel growing a big beard so be it. I never bought the 'in before pre season'. That really won't be a factor in Levy's mind.
The biggest problem and the reason the deal is taking so long in my opinion is we can't seem to shift players and if we don't Levy wont pay the money they are asking. So this is not a done deal as most seem to think.
Eriksen's family have been spotted house hunting in Madrid according to the Times. (Via BBC Gossip)All reports considered, the transfer fee has been agreed and we're sorting out the small print. Also, there may be a delay relating to the Lyon accounting procedure, but it's nothing to worry about.
As for the player himself, he's spoken with Poch and is excited at his sales-pitch, after which he visited our training ground.
He also gets to work with some very talented players next season, like the best striker in world football and the likes of Sonny, Moura, Alli, probably Eriksen and the world-cup winning captain Lloris, to name but a few.
His place of work most days will be our state of the art training ground and he'll be playing all his home games at the best footballing stadium in the world, bar none.
Further to this, he'll be playing in the greatest (and coolest) football league in the world, in the greatest (and coolest) city in the world.
Finally, he's also going to triple his wages for his trouble.
So, essentially, I'm not worried about this transfer going through; this isn't the Sugar mid-table 90s era anymore. We're a CL finalists club and we're beginning to act like it.
