you read all that I said and still asked why? Ross Barkley was a player we were linked heavily with got injured and went all hush ...Chelsea stepped in
I just don't understand why a couple of months injury would stop us from signing a player who is a player for the future anyways. Not like we're going to be screwed if Sessegnon misses the first month of the season.

Well, the way we operate is one thing it hasn't changed and history will tell you that. Sessegnon has to prove he can come back from this serious injury. You can bet you bottom dollar Levy ain't gonna pay a dime unless he can prove he is fit.

Did his hamstring fall off? Will he never be able to walk again?

Athletes come back from hamstring injuries literally all the time. Hell I had one a year ago and I am perfectly fine right now.

Ross Barkley played all season for Chelsea (missed 2 games) when I saw people on here talk like he would be a cripple the rest of his life. Its a completely overrated issue.

Not when it comes to a medical at Spurs...are you an athlete?

Barkley himself is a overrated issue hardly improved over last 2-3 years.

Toby's Done well since his hamstring injury, however I do wonder if Ryan's will have any effect on his pace as this is arguably his best attribute.

He’s just tweaked his hamstring, you lot are going on like he’s fallen badly at Becher’s Brook and is being carted off to the glue factory ffs

Big difference between tweaking and tearing. If it's a tear thats pretty serious and recovery will surely be quite lengthy.

Think people see the word ‘tear’ and absolutely shit themselves.

It depends to what extent he’s torn it.

We passed on Ross Barkley because he literally tore his hamstring clean off and needed surgery to make it right.

If Sess has only torn it a little bit, it won’t stop a transfer and he’ll probably only be out for a couple of weeks.

A tear/ rupture is a serious enough injury I always thought. I know there's different grades etc

But yeah not saying it wouldnt stop a transfer, but tearing hamstrings the recovery has to be handled carefully, or they'll be susceptible to recurring injury.

Ndombele, Lamela, Sessegnon - Spurs' starting XI and bench for their first pre-season friendly

Ali Gold doesn't seem to be sweating the Sessegnon injury, predicting that he'll be signed and in the first team for the ICC match with Juventus (along with Ndombele but not Clark or Lo Celso). Presumably he's had an MRI by now and any major injury would have made it to the press but I can't find anything regarding the injury at all outside of twitter and here. Maybe it isn't as bad as some are fearing, but that is all speculation on my part.

Nah mate this is just a wishlist, not really a prediction.

For any conspiracy theorists, Fulham have announced their new kits today, and Ryan Sessegnon is nowhere to be seen in press shots. Steven is pictured in the away kit, though.

As weird as it is that they've included his brother, I don't think you can read anything in to kit promos. It might have just been done with Ryan was away with England.

Discussion around kit launch photos always reminds me of this which convinced many that he was staying...

(I would agree that RS not being in the Fulham picture is telling, though)
