You can question the Kane call or the penalty call, but in the end this team played to their limits to get here. Now’s the time to back Poch and let him build his Spurs 2.0.

We got to the champions league final by hook or by crook...who in their wildest dreams would have thought that...but right at the death it felt a bit of a let down...they were there for the taking and we didn’t take it, hopefully this is just the beginning and we learn from this. I know it’s supposed to be the two other London teams that we despise but for me it’s this lot all day long and that makes it all the more painful but hey ho onwards and upwards COYS!!!

It was the wrong decision in hindsight. But a lot of people said before the game he shouldn't start. Hes always slow to get up to speed when he returns. It was the wrong decision. If I was Lucas I'd be questioning whether I want to stay here or not

If he gets a chance and scores it's the right decision. Didn't he score a few after coming back earlier this season? It didn't work out today, but I can't knock Poch for picking him.

People saying the penalty ruined the game or cost us, get a fucking grip, we had 88 minutes to get back into the fucking game. Responsibility is our own.
We basically started a cl final 1.0 down and you think that never made a difference????
O...K..

If we'd be anywhere near our best we would easily have won that game. That's what's gutting.

That and the ridiculous fucking penalty. I've seen so many shit decisions this season, I feel crushed by that pen. Gonna give things a break next season. Can't take it.
Sadly sissoko got his decision making wrong and set us on the back foot when there was no need

The pen... yes it was a pen. But if the rules are saying that any contact with hand/arm is a pen, then they would also look into players seeking that. If a player is on the ground with arms wide and someone plays the ball onto his arm on purpose, that is just as bad as simulating. Mane was playing the ball with intent of getting a pen.

I'm saying that to say the ref cost us the game is fucking victim mentality and fucking pathetic, i'm also saying your notion of the entire game plan going out the window is fucking moronic because the objective of the plan would have still be the same, to get a goal. Yes it has an effect mentally but we weathered the storm and they were fucking shit and we played fucking poor, we didn't need to panic about being a goal down until late on.

Well it’s been a rollercoaster of a season but overall I am happy. Against all the odds(injuries, World Cup players, no transfer, activity and delays to the new stadium)we made this final, finished 4th in the Premiership and finally moved into our new stadium.
Looking forward to next season.....COYS

Gutted!

But not as gutted as most of the players will be. They'll know they didn't play great, and Scousers were there for the taking tbh.

Not really. It gave the leading team a huge psychological assurance to be more risky knowing they were ahead. And being ahead almost immediately right off the start also mind-fucked the trailing team. Any preparation before the match could almost be gone, or 50% useless, with that scoreline at K.O
You'd be fucking stupid to throw you're plan out the window in the first minute. They were pretty shit in the first half and didn't play with more risk at all, so it didn't change anything psychologically.

I did think that moura should have started with Kane in the bench then bring him on after 50 odd minutes or so. Liverpool did not look like the team from the league. Eriksen has been a great player for us but think it's time to move him on and get fresh blood in, same for trippier. We need a bloody good rest ready for pre season, just a shame those stupid nations league games are coming up.

To lose 20 games, still make Top 4 and make a Champs League Final is plain mental.

It's been a very odd season. We've been poor most of this year and somehow we finished top four and got to the final of the Champion's League!

This team has run out of steam though. It's clear it will never push on from here and it needs investment to go any further.
