Said from the start Moura should have started- Poch needs to look at himself for this. Moura drags us into the final and he benches him. Any psychological momentum is now lost on a player that is clearly a confidence performer. We lost our edge by that decision against a Liverpool team that were there for the taking.
But, hopefully the squad moves on from this, we invest and build. Liverpool are a year ahead of us in this competition

We were as useless in the final third as we’ve been all season. Something needs to change there. Different players or a different coaching team.

Game was like most of our season, boring and tiresome. Incredible that we went to the final this time.

First of all a really big congratulations and well done to our squad just for getting us there. I'm still stunned we reached the final tbh. And then, we should just pick up some good signings to plug the right weaknesses and keep on growing. I Didn't see anything tonight that I've not been seeing all season. A lack of creativity from midfield and not enough penetration on the flanks. A couple of tweaks and we'll be flying. COYS!

Sad in a lot of ways.
Sad that we put up that type of performance in the biggest game in history of club.
Sad that we may have seen the last game Eriksen will play for us.
Sad that there is a good chance we won't get back here for a long time (just so many lucky breaks and bounces were needed this year).
So much luck is involved in a run like this. It was an amazing journey. Going to be very hard to do it again. Hopefully we can pull a Liverpool and get back next year and win it. Somehow though I dont expect that to happen.

It was a penalty. Just because it was against one of ours and seconds into the game doesnt make it less a penalty.
Imagine the same scenario with Henderson in their penalty box, I am sure you would be calling for a pen.
We then had 89 minutes to put it right but didnt

Just couldn’t muster enough. That’s all it was. I do feel we played better than them, but in the end that means nothing if it’s not tilting the score line in your favor. Proud of this club and squad, nonetheless. Work to be done but the signs are there, and I’m hoping we can get back to this match in my lifetime.
