The whole 'proud of this season' thing does my head in, but I'm pretty sure it's just his way of pointing out he's done a good job with shit tools. God knows what went on in the last 2 transfer windows, but we barely have 11 competent footballers at the club and most of them have been injured for extended periods. Add to that the stadium fiasco and you can't really argue he's done a good job under the circumstances. I can't think of any manager who would have done better with this group of players and the injury situation.
