Yeah i just think they turned their nose up at VVD price and paid that on a position where it was not required. You right though having unlimited cash resources makes it easier.

Horrible bastards. It's like quibbling over the price of The Big Issue.

I think whatever happens we need to be decisive before the big money starts flying around and we get priced out of everyone. I think this summer is going to see mental fees and we can't afford to get caught up in that.

If we kept Toby and eriksen however unlikely

Tielemans
wan bissaka
Grealish - if villa don't get promoted

Leon Bailey's star has faded a little this season so now may be the time

I think that would be doable

My targets would be

De Ligt
Digne
Grealish
Sessegnon
Ndombele
Wan Bissaka
Richarlison
Tielemans

Sane... :cautious::whistle:o_O
Sancho :cautious::whistle:o_O

Any of those would be fantastic

Re: Leon bailey. If he hasn’t played as well this season, what makes you think he can handle it at the top of the league ?

Perhaps opposing teams are now wise to him and he has reached his level ? Perhaps not but it’s a tough judgement to make without the benefit of hindsight

Well they bought Laporte instead and he hasn't been a very good signing.
Apologies if this is sarcasm, but what? He's clearly the other CB in the PL team of the season this year, along with Van Dijk. He was garbage against us in the CL, but otherwise he's been excellent this season.

I meant has, I'll correct it.

Only way Eriksen and Toby stay is if they sign new contracts. No way Levy will let them run down their contracts and we lose them for nothing.

you do realise Levy can try and sell them if they don't sign new contracts, but he can't force them to sign for clubs that the players don't want to join.

if Eriksen wants RM/Barca only then Eriksen might just see his contract out.

with Toby and what @JJetset said, Spurs will be hoping an offer comes in, though not sure if Toby refuses to move to a club that matches his clause would change the stand off between Toby and Poch.

also in your scenario we will need to replace Jan too, as he will only have 1 more year to go. with Dembele gone, and Toby possibly then Jan might wish to go. I wished we would offer Jan a contract he can't refuse, and would love him to take over the captaincy from Lloris.

I see the Zaha links surfacing again over the last 72 hours. I love watching the guy play -
So much fun but I don’t see him and where he would fit in in terms of the way we play.

I think Jan has, in the recent past, stated that he would interested in a contract extension if offered.

He still has a few more years of good Football in him and he can pass on his experience to the younger CBs in the squad.

I believe Jan will be given a new contract and he will sign it.

what I'm saying is if Dembele and Toby are/were his best mates at the club, he might have a re-think

Still hugely talented and just 21 , hes just not been as explosive.

I mean you could say the same as dele , has he been found out . Obviously not , there's massive talent there just as there is bailey
These are the risks we must take

It's wish list i know but this is more like a wild fantasy list
PS! Again, his name is Ndombele. Never mind, if he's not joining Spurs this summer it's of less importance I guess..
