Augero was offside. Just putting it out there
For his goal there were two players in front of the defenders when the ball was passed to Aguero that were bearing down on Lloris. A VAR review may have judged them to be active...

My thought was that he was thinking “oh shit, I’ve got to give it, there’s nothing else I can do”. He was probably just wondering what the fuss was about and it was a goal.

I get the impression the guy in his ear was a lot more suspect about it whereas he was just perplexed seeing the ball clearly fly off of his hip.

The angle used was indeed favourable and made the bit where it brushed his arm hard to spot, but the reaction from referees has almost been unanimous in support of the decision anyway.

If you look at this video , , which they are saying shows the Handball, is it just me or does it look like the city players hand swipe the ball?

After seeing the Eriksen's back-pass again and again I am still flabbergasted about his decision :banghead: What on earth were he thinking  It must be the worst misplaced/most brainless pass in his whole life. Talk about being saved by the bell :happy:

One fan joked: "Absolutely extraordinary level of genius from Eriksen to spot Aguero offside and play it off a City player to waste time and stop the goal from counting."

I wonder how Pep VARdiola and his plastic set of fans are feeling today :finger:

Probably trying to buy Liverpool season tickets for next season.

On another note, Eriksen is a very lucky boy for his role in losing possession in the build up to the ‘fifth goal’. Lucky!

If it stood I could see him being dropped for the rest of the season. His performances are bordering on lazy and he has become the absolute epitome of a "luxury player" we cannot afford.

Looks like he tried and failed to get a hand on it.

Good grief. Watching some of the video highlight things over here and these pundits absolutely hate the fact that Tottenham won.

Absolutely. The entire media have been obsessed with Fraudiola since Barcelona. They want him to win it all, regardless as to how he does it and with what resources. They hate the fact a team that signed ZERO players beat a half billion pound squad of mercenaries.

I think there's slight contact from both players but the only material touch was off the hip.

That would never happen in a million years, do you know our manager? :D

Poch or not, it’s just a ridiculous statement. He played well last night, and one tired pass in the final minute doesn’t wipe out the fact that most of our midfield/attack are injured, exhausted or have upcoming suspensions.

As if we can afford to drop Eriksen.

Watch it again and count how many times City players took the ball off him like adults taking on children.
No one else in our team gives it up that easy.
