From a sports science point of view, do our best XI have the stamina to play 2 games a week until the end of the season and is it better to keep players match-sharp, rather than rest them?

If the answer is 'yes' to both those questions, then we should play our strongest line up for the remaining fixtures.

He went down injured at one point last night, and during a stop in play I think they put ice or something on his calf, they said it might just be cramp to start with so hopefully it was.

He looked happy enough in the post-match interview with Lloris.

If he had a serious injury, you would have thought he'd be straight into the physio-room, instead of getting cold standing on the side-line doing an interview, after the match.

We were running on empty at the end of the game last night. No wonder though, with the effort put in by absolutely everyone.

I know it's not glamorous, but I'd say this game is more important than the QF return leg. We can't afford any points losses in our remaining home games, if we want to get top4. Best possible team for this one.

Son hobbled off. Defintely carrying a strain.
He's now too important to lose, so I would give him the next week off to rest and heal any aches and strains.

Time for others to stand up against Huddersfield.

Must win. Bigger game than last night was really. Strongest side, get it done and then drag players off if we’re safe.

Trip - Toby - Jan - Davies
Winks - Sissoko
Eriksen - Dele - Son

Worth rotating a bit:

Lloris
KWP Sanchez Verts Davies
Wanyama Skipp
Lucas Eriksen Alli
Llorente

Subs
Gazza Foyth Trippier Winks Nkoudou Son Keziah Sterling

Assuming Kane Aurier Lamela Dier all injured

Agree with making changes but those are 1 too many. Son for Llorente and Winks for Skipp. If game is comfortable take them off early

Most interesting thing for me is going to be the atmosphere.
A bit nervy initially, only increasing in nervousness until we get the first goal. Score early, and then I think it will be more relaxed.

Huddersfield has been utter shite all season and have nothing to play for, so really no excuse not to win on saturday if we want top 4.

Gazzaniga Foyth Vertonghen Sissoko Skipp Dele Janssen
All of Aurier, Dier and Lamela make the squad if fit ahead of Foyth, Skipp and Janssen respectively.

I would have son on the bench for this one.
We need him fresh for the 2nd leg and the rest of the season and Llorente and lucus need minutes

Nah we need Son playing, keep that purple patch bubbling away. Whenever he gets benched it seems to halt his form.

Start Son and Mucus Laura and bring Nando in early to headbutt a couple long balls at the end.
