The 'we're the Paxton' chants sounded great on tv. I've never heard it before. I hope we make it a 3 way chant with Park Lane then Shelfside then Paxton. The atmosphere sounds great overall as well. It will just take a bit of time to get the chanting sections together. It seems there's plenty of noise at each end now as well as the shelf.

Really nasty scenes with stewards and fans fighting in lower north with stewards trying to prevent standing. At least 10 fans ejected. It looked really bad and I’m sure will feature in the press soon

Feel for them, thank god we all stood in the south. I thought the numbers of stewards in the south were for the same thing but didn’t happen. One steward went up to about row 66 telling people to sit but no one did

Was fine in the 2nd half but 1st half was a shambles with regards to standing in the south stand. Heard a couple of accusations of people being a ‘grass’

You'd assume that those fans will get bans for fighting then.
If the club really do want to stop people standing at games they should approach it differently. Identify those that are standing and write to them and warn them what will happen if they keep standing. If the stewards keep pulling people out it will get ugly fast.

We were in the south stand block 453 row 57 and the stewards were really working hard around us to stop people standing and, on the whole in just our area, they were reasonably successful in the first half.
Midway through the 2nd half they sort of gave up and after the goal it was back to normal.
I fear the club is facing a losing battle on this issue.

When I started going Paxton did sometimes sing it. Normally only when invited by the park lane and shelf. Where they used to sing 'paxton Paxton give us a song'

spoke to 1 of the head stewards after, she was saying they removed a lot tonight, but impossible to remove 50k. I'll be gutted on Saturday because of where ambulant disabled people are positioned. in the section people sit down, but a bit like a domino effect the minute a promising attack comes the Paxton road end, people stand up.

I feel guilty of not being a grass, but didn't catch the face so couldn't say which of a group of 4 or 5 that shouted something, that after all the headlines this season was so friggin stupid, and wrong.
