The general idea of it being open plan was so people can have a general mooch about. Obviously the market place is proving very popular. So everyone is trying to pile in there. I think they will most likely close off the south stand after KO.

My son was complaining it took him 20mins before the game to get a beer, they're going to have to get that sorted.

Great stadium & great afternoon though.

Problem is most people atm is just using the popular bars.

So many little tap ins around not getting used atm

I think a lot of people just wanted to check out the marketplace for the first time. Not just those in the South Stand.

Yeah once people have familiarized themselves with the place and the novelty has worn of I think it will calm down a bit. After all the videos from last week people were keen to have a look.

Saying that I think the North stand needs an equivalent bar. Even if just the tap in and grill on the lower tier stay open for longer, because otherwise the north and west stand don't have anywhere to drink after the game, unlike the east and south which stay open.

Just home from the game. The stadium is absolutely amazing....!
You couldn't get to the market square today (south stand) which was a shame, they closed it off even before the game due to over crowding. I hope that settles down as wanted to go for a beer or 2 at the end but couldnt as it was still closed off, some fans were really unhappy about that.
I ended up heading to WHL station instead and wow, the queues were mental albeit still managed to get to Cheshunt by 2015 so wasn't too bad.
The players tried but inter were far superior in fitness, when we lost Robbie we dropped in pace but if it wasn't for gifting then 2 goals we would have won but to be honest it was all a bit of fun :) atmosphere was good , we kept trying but Paxton end is the same as it was before, the noise primarily coming from park lane and shelf side.
Gazza was a real shame, he looked proper up for it in the warm ups and even done a little floss which was funny for the kids (and some adults) but when warming up before coming on, he done something on the side, he still came on but struggled badly.
VDV was pretty poor to be honest too,v ery heavy touches surprised as thought he would be one of the fitter players.
We have to move forward now as everyone has a buzz around the place and we have to hope for real investment this summer and push on...
Now onto Pool tomorrow and then Palace, 6 points would be great :)

Can't for Wednesday.

All our players gonna be busting a gut to be the first scorer

I know we have a huge game tomorrow but I just want to hear the roar when the team comes on at the lane vs palace. That's all I can think about.

Every one that is lucky enough to go needs to record this.

I really hope they carry on the Spurs Legends idea like Inter do and get a regular squad playing often. Be good to get JJ in the middle for his legs, Daws when he retires, and then Keane and Berba playing together up front for years.

Do you get a sense that the atmosphere will be good? Or might it feel dead like Wembley even with lots of fans?
It's going to be phenomenal. The total opposite of Wembley, which is a soulless wilderness of a stadium.

The noise that can be generated inside is amazing. The place looks perfect and I reckon opposition teams are going to find it a very intimidating place to visit.

Still not full capacity but when was the last time Tottenham (the area) had a crowd that size? Great night, great stadium, love my Spurs.

I was in the Paxton upper and a few times we got a hint of what the Park Lane will be capable of. It is going to be a wall of noise and it raised the hairs on my arms a couple of times. This stadium is incredible! I knew it was going to be good but it was even better than I imagined.
