Didn't know he played for the Crossmaglen Brigadier U18's. It did make me laugh 'Showing support for my team mates' bet the lads were thinking cheers Declan for throwing us under the bus.
He’s certainly going through a lot at the moment. Just had his car nicked as well. Keep an eye out for it will ya.

Cut the lad some slack. Who among us can honestly say that they haven’t expressed public support for the IRA at one point or another?
Hypocrites.
In James McClean's defence, James McClean is an absolute fucking ****.James McClean said to be having a pop at a Rice now but he himself played for Northern Ireland under 21 before switching to Rebublic of Ireland at senior level according to the report.
Doesn’t it make him a bit of a hypocrite?

No. Rice played 3 games for the ROI senior team. Rice is an absolute thunder ****.

I agree Rice is, and I think he should have stuck with ROI.
But McClean still isn’t one to talk.
You can't compare the two though. McLean never played for NI Senior team. Rice did.
If England ever have to come here and play in the Aviva I guarantee you Rice would get "injured" in the build up to it and wouldn't travel. He chose the easy route to play for England.
He's a fanny.
Isn't the easy rout picking Ireland? As it is and will be harder for him to get in and stay in the England team than the Irish?
I have no issue with him swapping to England, it's all within the rules.
Although McClean didn't play for NI's senior team, he represented NI at various levels including U-21. If he doesn't identify with Northern Ireland at all (and I'm not disputing his right to his opinions), why did he play for NI at any level? Those teams all represent the same place and the same football association/system.You can't compare the two though. McClean never played for NI Senior team. Rice did.

Another point. Let's just imagine that Rice were half-Irish and half-Welsh or half-Scottish instead of being half-Irish and half-English, and he'd been born and bred in Wales or Scotland. He plays a few friendlies for Ireland before deciding to play for Wales or Scotland, would McClean be having a go at Rice then? Or is McClean allowing his Anglophobia to show?
