Its because you bad-mouthed Wembley.
The Club know when you've been bad...
Its because you bad-mouthed Wembley.
Heard from my cousin last night who has his finger in lots of pies that we are pitching/ in negotiations for two big fights in the summer. No idea who but I guess would indicate we will be in this season. As I’m sure they won’t want first event to be a boxing match. From vague memory I think WHL had quite a history with boxing and held a few big fights in the past. There’s quite a multitude of big British boxers currently so I guess we’d be seen as a nice venue for the ones not quite big enough for Wembley. I’d take it as solid info but whether it comes off or not who knows.
Desmond?Eubank Watson 2 too
Desmond?
Desmond?
Matchroom will love the new stadium. Right now they have to choose between the O2/Manchester Arena for fights, or Wembley - unless they go to the Millennium Stadium in Wales (which is inconvenient for many fans). This gives them something in between which will make them a lot more money.Heard from my cousin last night who has his finger in lots of pies that we are pitching/ in negotiations for two big fights in the summer. Just seeing the Chelsea stadium and they’ve got nike ticks behind both goals in the seats.
I’m surprised it’s not in our contract to do similar.
Imagine the huge Nike tick you’d get in the south stand. Levy could’ve got a fortune off them.
Edit: I do love the simplicity of just pure navy seats though
Wasn’t aimed at the likes of you, you’ve got a young family to deal with, bigger priorities than spurs related expenses. But like was one of those 24k STs since the 90s, and my dad since the 70s, and when I’m there v Southampton watching a match that feels like a friendly, and one which isn’t on the box, I question the collective loyalty of our support if we can’t even muster up enough people to fill the old ground. My frustration is with the 40,000 odd tourist fans who were happy to go last season when we were perceived to be flying high (though in actuality this season we are doing better), but can’t be arsed this season. It’s the pick and choose whatever is convenient mentality that I hate, get a selfie at home to Barcelona but don’t show up for a match v Southampton that really matters given our battle for 3rd and 4th with our two biggest rivals. That’s when the team needs the proverbial 12th man.
Like I said, not aimed at you, aimed at the tourists.
Predict that there will be at least 50k next week against Burnley. ?
Eubank Watson 2 too
Those were the days when you used to get a decent undercard for your PVP £.
I must of misremembered it because I'm sure I remember Eubank trolling Benn in Spurs Shorts (the Klinsmann ones with white semi circles) but I can't find an image.
Unfortunately Tourists like me are not in the position to buy ST and attend home games every week, as most of the time am out of the country. That should not give you the sense of entitlement which I detect from your tone, that we tourists love and support the club only when things are going well. I have been supporting Spurs probably before you were born, taking in every home game back in the day, but now can only visit to support once in a while when am in the country. I am a tourist who is proud of the fact that I love Spurs, no less than you by the way.Wasn’t aimed at the likes of you, you’ve got a young family to deal with, bigger priorities than spurs related expenses.
