Obviously i’d never condone such racism but...

Has anyone questioned if he was just eating a banana at the time, then threw the skin onto the pitch in anger at the players celebrating close to them?

I’d like to think it was just a completely misjudged second of rage, similarly to how arsenal fans threw bottles at our players during the melee after the first goal.

Well...

Someone actually smuggled a banana skin into the ground in order to throw it if they scored? So weird and mind bogglingly stupid.
I hope the disgusting, racist scumbag not only gets a lifetime ban but is named and shamed and loses his job just before Christmas.

That 3-0 second half was abysmal. Poch needs to look at himself - the scoreline flattered us hugely at half time and it beggars belief how slow he is to tweak tactics when the flow of a game is so against us at times. Awful showing today, with some exceptions.
Yep, we were very fortunate to be up at half time, if anyone needed to be bold at half time it was us, instead Emery went even more attacking with nothing to lose and they got their reward 2nd half, as good as we were against Chelsea was as bad as we were v Arsenal, complete opposite performance, should have been about 6-1 v Chelsea and 1-6 v Arsenal, amazing we can be so good and bad in space of a week.

Simply cannot believe Alderweireld didn't play today. Poch seems to make these silly errors in big games
Not only did he not play, but Poch decided to switch to 3 at the back and still didn't bring him on. Because of this we went on to concede 2 more...

We may well loathe him, but Ramsey is hell of a player and he made all the difference to them. Before he came on, Boomerang was consistently off-side as no one in their team can make a telling pass, but after he came on, Boomer really got dangerous.

Not much of a responder on this site but thought I might add my pennyworth. Forgive me for possibly repeating what has already been said but haven't had the time to read through all the posts.

1. Couldn't work out who had the worst pair of fullbacks on the park, but I think ours just shaded it. Davies set the tone in the first minute by losing possession, but Serge Aurier put in one of the worst full-back shifts I have ever seen. I know that Trippier has been pretty awful in that position since the World Cup but man, we need to do something.

2. Couldn't work out why in mid-week we had two centre-backs who shut out one of Europe's strongest teams __ Inter Milan__ only to have one of them relegated to the bench. Foyth is excellent and a great prospect but c'mon in a NLD in place of Toby……………….!!?? Jan seemed to be on edge from the first minute.

3. A lot's been said about Sissoko in previous games, predominantly bad. I thought he played OK today, but is OK enough? At some some stage we need our midfielders to step up and control/influence the game as did their little fellow _ can't remember his name, not interested.

All that said we knew Arsenal would be up for it from minute 1 (as in previous years); again, we just didn't seem to be ready for it, and I think we were surprised to find ourselves in front at half-time. Other than for the first 10 mins of the second-half we just weren't there.

You're not allowed to be fucked off by the massive deflection. Apparently Arsenal were so superior - so majestic and admirable - that it wasn't really lucky at all - merely another reflection of their awesomeness. :shifty::p
I doesn't alter the fact they were better than us today.

We've never been closer in 40 years and never been better in that time.

If you want an Oil Slaver to take over and match it with the other Oil Slavers fine - but blaming ENIC for not being Oil Slavers is pretty odd imo
We might be closer but we are still a million miles away from winning the PL or CL if ever and a change in ownership can only improve our chances.

Where have I once claimed otherwise?

Another fan desperate to win the "Look at me I'm a great supporter because I point out the fucking obvious" award.

Chill out man.

Decision to play Foyth was a wrongun..

Decision to not play winks another wrongun..

Playing a 442 diamond midfield against a back 3.....priceless wrongun. Outpaced and outnumbered in midfield and at the back to their 343...yet we persisted to try and play in front of their back 3. Very poor tactically imo. I didn't think poch could be so naive. And then watch it in front of his own eyes and not do anything about it... Even more naive.. Poch is getting schooled more regularly than before. What I don't get is how he gets it so right many times and then when the opportunity comes to go again same way, he reverts to type and gets done over. We've seen it against man city and liverpool a lot. Why?

Really? So if Mike Ashley takes over that would improve things? The Golds?

What are you are saying is you want some Oil slaver oligarch to come in and use Spurs to white wash their crimes against humanity. At least have the guts to own that position ffs.

I know Verts has history but I'm not sure that he meant to follow through in Lacazette.

But maybe he did. Seems harsh on replay.

I think that was the worst performance from our defence I have seen for a long time. All of them were poor and out of ten I couldn't give any of them more than a three LLORIS 3, Aurier 1, Davies 2, Vert 2, Foyth 1, There certainly need changes in January but it's unlikely we will get any. I think had Toby played we might have won as the Foyth and Vert errors possibly might not have happened.
