Has anyone actually seen anything about whether they have/have not found the problem with the safety systems? I know I haven't, but have I missed something?
You think that they scammed the ST money out of fans to help with the cash flow?
Or to gain a few pence extra interest from holding onto the money?
I was addressing those who were bitching about the inconvenience of going to Wembley. The fairness or not of season ticket refunds, communication etc is a separate issue which I was not commenting on. I would find it strange that after buying a season ticket you would refuse to attend because the venue has changed. If it was for logistical reasons fair enough, but not refusing because you have the hump because you believe you have been short changed, then who is losing out? This is just so wrong, why the assumption? Evil’s post was in reply to my comment where he took 4-5 words from the whole post and made out from it what he wanted to - guess it was on his mind and he just wanted to air his opinion.
Now to set the record straight, there is no sense of entitlement, no moaning about playing at Wembley just the fact that the club could have handled the delay better than it has particularly the drip feeding of the refunds and ticket pricing at Wembley.
I think they'll do anything to get as much cash in as they possibly can. The rumours rumbled for quite a while before the Sun article and many were shouted down.
They couldn't not have known it was going to be delayed and that it would make them look silly regardless.
Look at the attendances since the whole thing was announced...the later they left it, the less money they'd lose IMO. Might be cynical, don't think it is though.
Plus they'd already taken the ST money.

So surely they were right in announcing it late then?! If Spurs fans stop turning up just because of the announcement, you leave it as long as possible...
Either way, it's a pretty awkward few months for our club and supporters (but then what isn't awkward in the world in 2018!!!), but hopefully the stadium gets opened at some point and everyone gets back to concentrating on what it's all about and supporting us.
If we're going to win anything, we need the 12th man...
They only announced it because it got leaked.
Season tickets were sold with fans thinking the Liverpool game was the opener in the new stadium is the point, you must have seen the advert "The Only Place to watch the UEFA Champions League in London"...
You honestly think the club didn't know it wasn't on schedule before it got leaked?!

Drop the Wembley prices to domestic cup game levels, or the CL experiment two seasons back. The fans will come back, and bring with them a feel good factor. Absolutely the right gesture in the circumstances.
One deadline missed: October 15th. There has been no other date set for the first game. Burnley was, and Man. Utd was/is, speculation by the media and keyboard jockeys........3 deadlines missed already......
