Is this really going to be a thing. If so, no wonder the premier league is a bit concerned.

They say say that half of the PL players signed wouldn’t have got a work permit but surely that means only the best players would come and the journeymen wouldn’t. Squads would then be full of elite players and the rest made up of British players. That doesn’t sound a bad thing to me.

You seem to be contridicting yourself with the thanks a lot leavers comment and then the follow up “doesn’t sound a bad thing”

Well, that was a painfully dull international break.

Spurs-Liverpool is live for us this weekend, probably for everyone as it's the first game and the biggest of the round. Not really looking forward to it. The Watford game was the type of performance I'd hoped we'd put behind us, and now with no Lloris or Alli it will be a patched up side against a team flying at the moment.

Hope we don't start poorly. They will go hard for 25 minutes. Repeat of last season at Wembley would be great!

Elsewhere, it is possible West Ham will lose away to Everton and go 0-5.

It was really grim - that defeat against Watford knocked the stuffing out of us. Have lessons been learned ?

Hopefully we can get back on track but it is going to be tough.

I have family coming round to stay tonight and I'm stuck with them for the duration of the match tomorrow, really need them to leave me in peace to watch the match as I will be bouncing off the walls.

Newcastle dominating Arsenal so far, and Cardiff lead at Chelsea!

I don't know about the rest of you but it makes me feel a tiny bit better.

Hazard looks to have taken his game to the next level so far this season. Worrying if that continues.

Chelsea (read: Hazard) have turned it around but Arse didn't look like scoring at all in the first half. Newcastle were much better than them but their big problem is creating good chances.

Wow, B'mouth doing a number on L'ster in the first half.

3 up.
I've said it before and I will again, Ryan Fraser is a bloody good player. Him playing off the left with King and Wilson centrally is an underrated front line.

Yeah im watching the Woolwich game...Newcastle should really be in front here.
Will lift my mood quite a bit if they get beat here.

And all this talk about Liverpool being the ones challenging City for the title, I can't see past Chelsea tbh.
Quality squad and manager, and they won't give a fuck about the Europa league.
City Chelsea 1 and 2 for me....just hope United implode and we pull our shit together.

Fucking Xhaka from out there.

Good thing his three stunning goals a season appear to make managers turn a blind eye to his deficiencies elsewhere.
