If Levy is not sure about paying what CP wants for Zaha and Chelsea is interested, then does anyone really expect us to get him? If Chelsea is that interested, they will just pay more anyway.
Bottom line for this window is whether Poch is happy, and after talking in media about getting players in early and ITK saying many times that both Martial and Zaha have long been Poch favorites, I am not quite sure how he could be happy if Zaha goes to Chelsea and Levy tries to buy some cheap alternative.
I keep holding out hope based on Herc's "Monday-Wednesday" timeline but we are obviously down to the last of those three days and have had nothing announced or seemingly even close via ITK, so hard to be optimistic.

If he has a straight choice between Pochettino or Sarri, Tottenham or Chelsea then he'll show what side of the fence he sits regarding his future and what he's looking for out of it

FFP is not worth the paper it's printed on. Every time it has been challenged it has met with defeat.
Call me a cynic but it seems to me that only Levy adheres to FFP - because it suits him to do so. A perfect excuse for him to keep sitting on his hands...
Get busy already and worry about FFP when the need arises - which is probably never

Zaha is a very good player and would improve us significantly. I hope it gets done. Would hate to see him at Chelsea.
