Luckily Belgium have a tactically astute coach to help them wrest back control of this game.. lol

Anyone still gonna try to claim this World Cup is shit because all the “big” teams are heading home early?

Best tournament in recent history, for me.

Is it a premier league thing? Coach and the key players all England based... Is there a complacency and naivety that comes from playing in that league? Because Japan, as Jürgen was saying, have won the psychological battle here.

Long way to go, but one problem for Belgium is that Japan are pretty good. At least, technically they are; whether they have the craftiness and bottle needed to close this out is another matter.

Will the Japanese coach now be exonerated for resting six players in their last game, if they go through to the QF?

It takes some real special manager to make this Belgium squad look shit. It actually astounds me that their FA can't manage to find a half decent manager.
