So 10%+ chance of signing him. It’s enough to keep the hope going for weeks.

Bale is the biggest statement signing we could possibly make. Ali has said all along it's a Levy thing so I never thought it'd totally go away. It would be huge for us commercially (which makes the fee more doable for Levy) and does appear more viable now our wage ceiling has shifted. Yes he has his injury concerns but he's coming off a season where he's been largely fit but underused. Maybe a bit of healing has occurred in that time.

One thing is for sure, if we do really want to win trophies, Bale is pretty much the best signing we can make to try that, he's been decisive in two CL finals and at least one Copa Del Rey. Big game player.

We have to get there first. Which is saying a lot because he's injury-prone, too expensive, and over the hill. Or at least that's what people are saying.

Aliz is right about Bale. But I give chances less than 1%, to his 10%. His contract with RM is not that simple. Do not want to get into the details.
Gelsen Martens’ agents and more are trying to offer him to us. We have not bitten after past experiences. Things can change however, but haven’t heard that change as of yet.

A glimmer of hope fuelled further by ITK before mid day, great stuff.
If this did happen I am sure the PR team will be in over drive. Still remember seeing him in Times Sq billboard pre transfer.

Quite the big ruckus that small man caused last year. Not sure how he'd compare in the Prem to our other options. Thoughts?
