So you have never seen Dele or Eriksen have a bad game..Anyone that has seen a lot of Suso would know he is a fine player..you don't get called up to Spain squad by being useless, you can't judge a player on one game..that's a ridiculous thing to do

ok fair comment, but i honestly believe that game yesterday showed the gulf between teams out of the top league positions, ie 6th Premier and the Seria A. even if I watched them week in week out, after watching yesterday I have to say how disappointed I was.

we lost to the possible winners of the Seria A, and was undone by a couple of efforts, by players that would get into teams around the world. had we buried our chances we would of gone through, i honestly believe if this AC Milan team played in the premier it would be mid table, and wouldn't be feared.

If we lose Toby I'm not in favor of buying another CB to replace. Drop Dier back to his natural position at CB and have him compete for the role with Sanchez. Buy another DM. Diawara at Napoli or Zakaria at BMG would be players to look at to buy in that situation.

I am not sure what the Dier's natural position is. Maybe his natural position is versatility. We must buy a CB if Toby goes (which is very likely). I would like to have a CM (deep lying playmaker or box-to-box) rather than a Pure DM. We cannot heavily rely on Dembele, and Winks's fitness is also worrying, and Sissoko being Sissoko.

Are Tah and Malcom even potential goers? Tah is heavily linked with Europe’s elite and Malcom is apparently off to Bayern Munich.

I agree..Milan are a shadow of former selves.. even in that game Suso showed a glimpse of what he could do by bringing ball onto left & whipped a beutiful deliver into box (the one for collision with gk) that was a great ball..his role has changed under Gattuso..he's not asked to defend as much as he used to & told to stay up pitch in space left by lb..imo he's betier when he's kept involved & allowed roam

We are trusting the info supplied to us by ITK but when you name clubs of that ilk tier 1 it would be very difficult to recruit, as with all things we will have to wait until the summer to find out.

A top quality midfielder to play alongside Dembele should be the #1 priority.

I’m sorry but I don’t rate Dier at all at CM, see his long term future being at CB.

Nope i have not seen this article but apparently, bayern want to replace vidal as he is ageing now.. but if it is really true, don't you think we should be all over to get someone like vidal?

So you’d want an ageing player to replace a younger established player in our current team?

If Vidal comes (I hope not) who would he replace in our starting line up and do you think that the dropped player would want to stick around after being dropped to second choice? I’d doubt Vidal’s wages would be low and he’d probably only move to us if he’s guaranteed a starting role when fit and available.

Vidal would replace Dembele or Dier
Which established young player would he replace that worries you? Dier?? He's 10x better

C'mon, man. Llorente's been a total donkey for us.

I know. But the others I mentioned are not ready.
I think keeping Llorente for a season until Arp or Dolberg are ready is the smartest choice.
We won't get much selling him, and he's apparently a good character in the group. So I see no issue in keeping him for at least one more season.

Malcom is more of a playmaker than lucas or costa

He’s not a “playmaker” type per se though. If you want to categorise him, I’d say he’s more in the Robben type mould. He’s got some pace, he can dribble, but does get his head up and try to do something constructive when possible.

Totally agree - I've been saying the same for ages. He genuinely thinks he can play like a CM and tries all sorts of passes and dinks as if he is one, but overhits them all the time and doesn't have the agility or acceleration. A great back up, but really we need a worldie next to Dembele and then we need to find Dembele's replacement....!!

His place is the most vulnerable currently compared to Eriksen and Son, but have you forgotten the last two seasons? If he'd only done it in his first season you could maybe argue it's a one off, but the fact he was even more productive in his follow up season shows it's no fluke.

I admit this season is strange as he looks so poor in front of goal, but it can only be confidence and that is a funny thing in sport. He is young and these things can happen to young players. Plus he's suffered like most English players in being totally overhyped.

But that's problem, this season he should have been hungry to impress Europe's finest, but he wasn't. We just seem to be carrying him at times and when we are trying to step up we can't be carrying anyone.

Don't forget I did also say move him back to midfield to get more involved

We haven't carried him, you have fallen for the media bollocks. He's had a very productive season, 9 goals 15 assists. He's lost a little confidence in front of goal, but has made up for it with assusts

Eriksen has 9g 9a
Son has 16g 9a.

We carry Eriksen and Son at times too, as do Chelsea with hazard, Man u with Sanchez etc etc. It's the nature of the game

I'm not talking assists, I'm talking leading the team and driving us forward. Son scares players with his running, whilst Eriksen genuinely dictates the pace of a game. Alli might be getting assists and some goals as you have pointed out, but so have Son and Eriksen, as you pointed out. But Alli is not driving the team forward. How many times when the game is tight and the is no space has Alli picked the lock? He would be better if in centre mid where he doesn't have to beat players, where he doesn't have to run into players.

I don't see how we're carrying him at all. Also amazed at the talk of selling him. Ridiculous imo.

Im sorry you've lost me. Picking the lock is exactly what he's doing this season, hence the 15 passes directly resulting in goals!

You have say to even though Dier is playing DM. 0 goals and 2 assists is pretty poor for a CM. And I’m hoping you’ve forgotten Dembele and he’s not 0 goals and 0 assists. Because however well he may strut that’s just shocking for your creative CM. That is clearly an area we need to massively improve your CMs have to offer more than that.
