Seems to me that we're back to square one with our main attacking signing and are wasting our time on a pipe dream that won't happen with very little time in the window.

Disappointing.

My thoughts exactly. This is never going to happen without Dier or Rose going the other way.

Martial has an extremely high ceiling, poch can make him into a world class winger. Straight swap i would have no hesitation.

The only possible way I can see him coming is if yanited buy perisic and martial hands in a transfer request, even then I still think it's unlikely

I think we are led to believe that Inter would be a rival bid for Martial so we could be left out all together if they do a Perisic/Martial deal themselves unfortunately.

This is not wasting our time.
We are messing with united for tapping Rose. And if it miraculously gets accepted we get a great signing. It's a win win situation. It's a great move by Levy.
We can still go for another target at the same time too
