Did anyone else hear what Jenas had to say about Sherwood's relationship with AVB. Pretty much bang on what many of us had assumed. Jenas said he was constantly in AVB's office getting angry and telling him who he should be putting in his squad on match days.

Where was this said?

Can someone let us know why Josh left the field? Subbed or injured? And also the final score

Obviously its not over - and he is playing on the left - but I don't think he is ready yet for important matches defensively.

Don't really understand how you draw that conclusion from that game. He showed more assurance on the ball than Davies does and he was pretty solid defensively throughout. He's a tenacious little fucker too. He's not perfect, but then are any of our much more experienced FB's ?

The only one I can so for sure is a Gooner is Ogilvie, Eyoma's family are gooners I think but I can't say for sure that he is.

For those that don't know anything about Bayliss...he's a tall central midfielder, U18 captain, playmaker, metronome, elegant, more than a defensive player. Reminds me a bit of Carrick.

Edit: Actually not Carrick, he definitely reminds me of someone, I just can't think of who. I want to say Barkley (when he plays deeper) but there's someone else he reminds me of more.

Got it! Gerrard towards the end of his career when he was playing deeper and taking the ball off the defenders and popping it about. Much more mobile than Carrick who tends to play from a much more restricted zone and less of a dribbler than Barkley who, even when he's playing the playmaker role, can't help himself but barging forward and creating confusion.

I was hoping you were going to say Xabi Alonso! Haha...
