I'm already moving on from Walker. There's far too much ITK signaling his move away, and I feel like it's a matter of when not if at this point.
In my opinion, the only player that we could feasibly get and would lessen the blow of losing Walker is Nelson Semedo. I don't see Alves ever coming here, so have a hard time even factoring him into any equation.
Semedo is going to cost a TON of money. As I've said previously, the "Semedo Sweepstakes" are going to heat up even more if Walker is sold. For that reason, it's imperative we get in there as early as possible. In a way, it'd be best to string the suitors for Walker along while we pursue Semedo. I'm not naive enough to think things happen in such a linear way, but it might be our best (and only) hope of actually getting a player who can push Trippier immediately and also could improve on Walker very close to their arrival.
